I agree. I have seen gorillas fight. I beleive things as huge as a hippo elephant and maybe crocodile can beat a gorilla. I think they could kill bears lions and tigers, but can also loose. A blow to the head or back from a gorilla could easily crush the skull or break the back.

Gorillas have weak punch u r wrong. They have incredible grip strength they will tear u apart. And they can throw u around but they punch like a 15 yr old girl. They r not built to punch, humans are because we are good at throwing and that is the what allows us to punch well. Having huge arms won't help u throw a strong punch at all. To throw a solid punch with force u need alignment and proper use of the kinetic chain. There are plenty of articles that describe this.

How is it going to overpower the jaw muscles of a crocodile. Crocodiles’ jaw muscles are well over twice as strong as anything a gorilla can offer Not to mention their skulls are resistant to both bites from other crocodiles, which are FAR more deadly than a gorilla’s attacks, but also resistant to BULLETS. There is an instance of a 350kg crocodile killing an 800kg rhinoceros on its own. This isn’t even a contest, the gorilla can’t feasibly *hurt* it. Between the osteoderms and the fact that the crocodile’s head and neck ALONE can be upwards of 150kg + the incredibly resilient skull, that’s like punching a block of tungsten.

In a fair fight the best bear easily beats the best gorilla. The bite force is comparable 1300psi to 1200psi. The bears size makes its very hard for the gorilla to get a quality bite off without taking alot of damage from its 4 inch claws. Im not sure what weapon a gorilla would have access to to equalize the fight but a gorilla just isn't built to fight apex predators because they are made to hunt and kill and gorillas aren't. Bears can reach a top speed of 35mph while gorillas can hit 20mph. both can climb but obviously the gorilla would be quicker at it. Bears skin is much thicker and not as easily injured compared to a gorilla that has skin more comparable to humans. But it again if its just a straight up fight and retreating isnt an option then the bear would win.

Yk it is interesting to see how strong a gorilla would be with peds and actual strength training. To think the strongest humans on earth can pick up 1100 lb off the ground is insane considering the average person, without training can barely crack 200. I can't say for sure but if peak human strength is 5x stronger than the average then peak gorilla strength might be similar too, although the average gorilla is much more physically fit than the average person so I think it would be a considerably smaller gap
