Nope. They eat the intestines first which are soft and ready to swallow. Most predators go for the soft underbelly. The prey probably goes into shock after a few minutes, but it is indeed painful and scary and must feel like an eternity to them. The worst death is probably the ones suffered by seals from polar bears. They simply skin them before even getting to any flesh. The snow makes a sharp contrast with the blood in that case... we humans have it made. A lot of us die from old age. Few animals in the wild get to be old. They die when something else eats them.

I figured there would be more info on the topic because it’s an interesting question but not a lot that I could find.
