I have been dreaming of a day like this for SO LONG! We went on a whim to check out a spot I had been curious about for a long time, and we ended up finding a MASSIVE dump site full of incredible antique bottles. Not lying when I say it's the BEST bottle hunting day I have ever had!

How do you know where to hunt bottles? You and Chris share clues that you use in creeks when looking for fossils. Are there indicators that reveal possible bottle locations? I left that thing in CLR for a whiiiiile and it did nothing haha. I think the entire thing has turned into rust and there's no good metal in it anymore :(

That's a killer dump. All of those sodas and meds and milk bottles. And you didn't have to dig a twenty foot hole to get to em. Awesome.👍☮️💯

Did bottle dumps come about because of changing technologies in the bottling industries? It's fascinating to me that there are areas with such an abundance of them. I wonder if it was too expensive to melt down old bottles to manufacture news ones? Whatever the reason it sure is cool to watch you discover these sites and explore them! Albany, Americus, Dawson, my old stomping grounds! Dawson is a tiny little town, finding bottles from there is a good find. You need to go hunting on the banks of the Flint River when it is low, I found a large black sharks tooth there many years ago. Thanks for the video!

That gun looked like a Webley mark series revolver. Some were chambered in odd calibers and manufactured around the world War eras. One, like the one my father had, was chambered in .455, it was an English service revolver and it came with moon clips that could shoot the American .45 acp cartridge that was used by many g.i's in the iconic 1911.

Jesse James lived until 1951. You're in his stuff. I recognize the bottles. Check those lip chips well. Some have been knapped and modified. I also have a Dr. Bell's Pine Tar Honey right here beside me. The white milk glass jars you are finding, appear to be cold cream jars, but they're actually Lustre' Cream Shampoo jars.

Alright! A good day for three boys to play in the mud Lol. Some really nice bottles. Hope you go back there soon, because you know there's even more rare ones, even the bottles with cracked or chipped necks, why not cut them off and sell them or trade them to a vintage or antique store, for something else you want. That one blood wine bottle was broken perfectly already, for a vase, just grind the lip a bit. Fun giveaways for your channel too. To remove the crud from metal relics, (non-toxic). Pick up a gal jug of cheap vinegar and get the cheapest bottle of molasses (Qt size?). Restaurant supply stores are a good resource. Dump half of each one into a container, cover loosely with a lid. Set in garage or out-building, as it puts off a sulfur smell. It may take a couple months, but you don't need to fuss with it. It works!

Thats AWESOME!!!!! Believe it or not MY. FAVORITE 3 are the 2 TINY ones and the one that looked like 2 balls hooked together gonna go back and check the name of it lol! It was the new grape!! Lol but that very first tiny one and that other tiny embossed are my favorites! Lol
