In the northeast: we always travel with a leaf blower: much easier to clear your slides and roof of leaves or debris. Also ; in the northeast we use generators: we hardly ever have hookups and do just fine

Lol we actually have a leaf blower, but it’s in an inconvenient spot, we’ve got to reorganize and get rid of some stuff when we get back to our storage unit in Florida 😆 and it definitely seems like we might be getting the generator out over here in this area of the country!

As others have suggested, get a battery operated leaf blower for the roof. Makes easy work of that task. We have one brand of battery tools for the camper so that we only have to take one or two batteries.

First time viewer. We are fulltime retirees who lived our lives in CT. Visit our kids & grandkids every summer but no places to boondock. State parks and we know them well cannot accommodate big rigs at all. Unless you want to spend a night in a mall parking lot (and probably get kicked out), that's about it. Campgrounds are very expensive.

fyi, a lot of those "lists" that state that some place is voted best place to live, or the best beach, or the best night life arent actually a vote. The city/tourism council just pay a publication XX amount of dollars to be on the list, the ones paying the most get the top spot. They do it as a means to bring in more tourism and therefore more money to the town so its essentially just advertising

East Coast NC me lol. NC, VA, KY, WV, PA are the most hills. I-95 & I-81 probably the best to travel on 😂. I hear from other KZfaqrs NH etc in that area not bad to get places
@wildrvlife

LOL although with the roadwork on I-95 alllll the time, I don’t even know if that one is safe! Those are such hilly places though!

@@wildrvlifeSC is always pretty rough going south 😂, me I live West NC foothills, I went up i-77 to i-81 to Scranton, Pa then went east for best traveling was 1 little toll think was $2.50 for car to cross a little bridge but when you come back across they was no toll, then jump in i-84 East into CT probably the best way. You can look on the map for that route, Scranton Pa Petro Truck Stop was a good fuel stopping point my old stop
