Wildwood Video Archive I know this is about pizza but I heard you mention Franconis breakfast, They definitely have the best and most reasonable price for breakfast on the boardwalk! Side note they are open until November we eat breakfast there frequently even though my daughter works at Uncle Bills!🤫

Macks pizza in Wildwood, hands down, no contest. Yum, we even go the last day, Columbus day, and enjoy the last pie of the season. Love Macks pizza. Number 1 in my book. Have fun!

Made my mouth water, lol! Grew up with Mack's and Sam's on the boardwalk. Those are my favs but I gotta get down there again next year and sample some others though. Thanks guys!

You're really making me want to do the Boardwalk Pizza Challenge now, LOL! I just won't wear the chef hats while doing it, LOL! I think this will be on the bucket list this summer! Awesome Video! I'm a Sam's and Mack's pizza guy myself, but sounds like fun trying them all.

i keep forgetting there's boardwalk after the Convention Center. But personally, Mack's was great considering a seagull got my first slice, and Olympic Flame has incredible steaks and Gyros

Loved the video! First of all I just want to say thanks for making a long and very entertaining video. And Joey you can call me a friend anytime. 👍 I don't really have a favorite pizza place. I used to eat a lot of Little Nicky's because it was close to where I was staying. Having the family in the video's is always a treat and a great addition to the video's I would definitely like to see more of this. There was a lot of cross contamination happening because you were using the same cutter for all of the pizza. 😂😂😂

It's been years since I have been there, but in the late 40's to mid 50's my family rented a place on 17th st, in August every year. The boardwalk in N.Wildwood was almost barren to 26th st. I remember a fishing pier at 19th st. There were only three or four pizza shops back then, but I remember the smells coming from the sausage stands with a fan behind the grills. Thanks for the memories!!!

Come hell or high water I'm going to go to Wildwood this year. Family used to vacation there for years. Last time I've been was 1983. It's been far too long. Gotta try Mack's and Sam's

The best way to do this would be to have a little piece of each, back-to-back, and do it blind so that you don't know which pizza is from where until you make your decision. That way there aren't factors of bias or too being sick of pizza to influence the judgement! Unfortunately it probably wouldn't be possible to do it properly since at least half the pizzas would be cold by the time you got all of them, and re-heating pizza isn't the same. Unless you put them all in the fridge and compared which pizza is best cold!

This summer we tried the Alex's Pizza with xtra sauce....OMG it was sooooo good. We don't have those amazing pizza here in Montréal, Canada. Wildwood's Pizza are really the Best. 🍕🤪

Anyone remember Bono's pizza that used to be at the corner of New Jersey Ave. and Hollywood Ave. in the Crest? Loved their pizza back in the day (80s/90s) especially their white pizza. Sal's down the street isn't too bad but not as good as Bono's was. The building is now the Fish Factory.

hey! So every Hot Spot is owned by different families and have different recipes while both Macks are owned by the same family and have the same recipe. It was the same reason why we skipped the second "Angelo's Spot" pizza place.

This could be the "most fun" video of the summer. Nice work!!! We're a "Sam's family" (have been eating there for 30 years). However, this summer, the pizza seemed 'off'. (I posted this question previously): Have any "Sam's Fans" noticed a slight change in the pizza this summer? It just didn't taste as good as in past years. We ate there 2x on our vaca, and had the same thoughts both times.

@@clarkbar Yes, agree 100%. No taste. We ate dinner there our first night of vaca (a Saturday) and both pies we ordered had no flavor. We figured maybe it was "off" because Saturday is a very busy night, so maybe the chefs were rushing. So we went back on Wednesday. Same thing... no flavor in either pie. Everyone thought so (kids, us parents and the grandparents). We love Sam's. Been coming here since I was a kid and we always leave happy. This year was disappointing.

I promise something didn't taste right. We had it the night before and it was great but for some reason this slice wasn't. I didn't know it in the video but we picked up the slice and there was a pile of grease under it. Sometimes Mack's is a hit or miss.

Is little nicky's close , if it is that's heart breaking , I loved their pizza and in the morning their breakfast sandwiches was there a few times each day I would be in Wildwood .
