Dollywood's largest expansion is officially open, and we wanted to take a tour of it! Wildwood Grove features many exciting attractions for the entire family, including a roller coaster called "Dragonflier". I came from Florida to visit dollywood last summer. It's a great park by the way. My favorite coaster was wild eagle. It's a smooth coaster by the way. I had a front row ride on it. You need to check out my local theme park Bush gardens Tampa if you like coasters. They just open a new coaster called trigis back in April on the 19th. They have a total of 9 coasters with one coming in 2020.

It was a very fun coaster, so smooth, only wish it were longer. Rode it on Friday.

I watched this thinking, this is what parks should be doing to make their parks more enjoyable for their guests. All of these great things added in just one year, while corporate parks owned by Cedar Fair, like Michigan's Adventure only get an occassional park bench, when the company that owns them makes billions in profits. So big applause Dollywood! Thankyou for proving that a park actually cares about giving great value to it's guests. Impressed. I have not visited yet, but the park is high on my list for a visit.

Lol, our family of four in the power wheelchairs in the meet & greet at 6:28 😊. A friend pointed us out in your video to me, so fun! Our kids are 11 and 15, and even though they are thrill ride lovers, they still rode (and enjoyed) the bears ride, and enjoyed the meet & greet with the characters. This area exceeded my expectations - it really is fun for all age groups. Dragonflier is now my daughter’s favorite coaster there.

How you play the game you couldn’t figure out is: everyone stands on different colors and runs in place, whoever gets their whole section to light up first wins.

I was there Sunday and between mother’s day and the threat of rain no one was in the park. It was great. Everything was a 0 min wait except for dragonflyer. That was such a fun ride and totally unexpected thrill wise.

I been to dollywood once last summer. Drove up from Florida to visit. I was able to ride everything except for lighting rod. It was closed for problems. This new area makes me what to take a trip again. It looks amazing by the way.

My dads job has a company picnic here every year it was at kings island but they thought Dollywood was a more family orientated park for the families❤️but I go almost every week😬highly recommend

Our school goes to Dollywood for a end of the year feild TRI it's only 4th and 5th I'm in 5th and we go on May 16th I'm so exited my favorite ride is wild eagle

Maybe the cleared land behind Wildwood Grove will be for a new large attraction. Like at SeaWorld San Antonio how they opened Ocean Explorer in 2017 and then added Electric Eel in 2018.

Great fit for the park, but that building with the playground in it takes away from the atmosphere a little bit. Hopefully when the trees in the area grow up, it won't be as much of an eye sore.

456swagger it’s supposed to be themed to falling leaves! The rocking motion of the ride mimics the way that leaves fall to the ground. Makes a little bit more sense that way 😄

Nothing says "falling Leaves" like a swinging Pirate Ship and the fact that they bulldozed every tree on the site to pour all that concrete and erect an artificial tree. Yes now I get it, it makes perfect sense. I wonder if they'll sell sabers and eye patches? Yo ho yo ho a Pirates life for me. Where have I heard that? I think it was at a very big theme park in Orlando Florida. I think they even have a very large artificial tree there as well.

A coaster without a brake run that is physically limited to permanent one train operations seems like a....poor design to say the least. That saved them like what, $20k? On a busy day when the lines are 60+ minutes, they're really gonna be wishing they had that extra train.

I don't think clear cutting is a viable strategy for a land whose theme is enchanted forest. It is absolutely barren there.

Considering that most guests left after she did....doubtful. The park hits capacity sometimes when she makes appearances.

We love Dolly, and were really hoping to see her. We didn’t make it over to that part of the park in time. She’s a great humanitarian- check out her Imagination Library program (sends many free books to children through the mail) and her My People fund - she gave people hit by the wildfires there money to get by on. Plus her music and movies... she has lots of fans.
