My first model steam workshop. And it worked! Great Sunday morning fun
The back ground music is "The Shadow of Your Smile" by John McDuffy "Brother Jack McDuff".

I own a D20 with the D22 arriving next Friday. Here is a modification I made to control the condensate. First off, newer models have the cylinder exhaust plumbed back into the smoke box below the chimney. For both yours and mine some silicone tubing (RC fuel line) is attached to the exhaust piping and routed to a 1 cup food storage container. Drill a snug hole 2/3s up the side of the container and fit the exhaust hose in. Should be a snug fit. Drill same size hole in the lid of the container and run that tubing up the chimney so it just sticks out. This keeps the chimney and smoke box dry so they will never rust. After an evening of running remove the lid and empty the container. Little wash up will clean the oil away. That is a very nice workshop you have there. D22 has tons of power. I am making a 3 phase generator with rectification and a storage capacitor to charge my cell phone.

I have the same small Bix burner for the D22 and the large one for the D20.

Same here, now. The Bix burners certainly make it easier to run these engines. Nice smoke mod idea, thank you.

They are G scale Preiser figures, I think I bought from Amazon.

Thanks. The building is from the Wilesco D141, I bought it without the contents, then added the rest myself. Glad you liked it

What is the model on the far right of the workshop, with the two red handwheels, I have one of them, but cannot find any I'd of the machine type or model number
