Here at Waiākea High School, I am a part of National Honors Society (NHS). Our project for 4th Quater was to touch up on something in our community that we could improve. I decided to focus on Mental Awareness for both personal and social aspects. I hope you were able to enjoy and learn the message I was aiming to share.

How long is the braided raffia?

I make my braided rafia the length of the crown of my head plus 6 inches.

Aloha, at the end after you tied it did you leave the leftover leaves or did you trimed it?

Aloha and sorry for such a late reply! You can leave the leaves if they are short so it covers the tie in the back or you can wrap more of the rafia around it to cover the ends of the final leaves :)
