Swapping Stock Wheels for 32 inch Off Road Falken Wildpeak AT3s. Its great.
As for the specs, the black rims in this instance are BMW 162. They are staggered. Fronts are 18x8 with 34 offset. Rears are 18x8.5 with 37 offset. Rims are 18 inch. The tires are 275/65/18 Falken Wildpeaks.

I have 255/70 R18 KO2s, and they even work with the suspension fully dropped down. The 255 are a bit narrower and still 32.1” in diameter. They’re 5 lbs. lighter (less unsprung weight and rotational mass) and I love them.

Goodyear has 32" Duratrac tires for 19inch rims... I have that on my LR3 with Johnson 2.5 rods. A perfect fit and height!

Hey Wetfish, I literally have just fitted these (255/65R19) to my D4 yesterday. Did you have to cut the steel frame horns at the back inside of the front wheel wells to avoid rubbing on full steering lock? Also, how are you finding road handling ay +2.5" lift? Thanks in Advance!

@@arjandelaney Hey, I didn't not have to do any cutting. No problems with the lift rods. Keep in mind the 32 in tires and left rods give the LR a higher ride on a somewhat narrow profile so it doesn't take much to overcorrect the steering.

I have 26mm spacers that widen my track so oversteer not much of an issue, so far anyway. I'm going to drop down normal ride height to 1.5" or so using the GAP IID Tool, by cutting frame horns to accommodate. Finding +2.5" lifted again for off road doesn't work well with the airbags!

I have 35/12.50/18 mud tires on my LR3…no issues at all!

at 3:13 you can see you get rub on the frame horn of the chassis, I had this same problem, I fitted 255/55/20 to mine and going to have to change them out as they rub and are dangerous.

Hi there, On mine the point of rubbing and sound is just the front of the bumper. On my LR3 I trimmed the bumper and the inner wheel well cover and took it to zero contact. On the LR4 I just left it alone as the contact only occurs at full lock in reverse. But the same trimming could apply. They are more noticeable than the street tires, but in my opinion they are still a quiet set of tires. Nonintrusive. I love the WIldPeaks.

Whats the make and name of those black wheels on the discovery and what size tyres are on them , and will they fit on a discovery 4 thanks

The black rims are BMW - 162. They are staggered. Fronts are 18x8 with 34 offset. Rears are 18x8.5 with 37 offset. Rims are 18 inch. The tires are 275/65/18 Falken Wildpeaks. Do they fit on a discovery 4 - The answer is YES BUT. You can see they are on an LR4 in the video, which is the same as a Discovery 4, BUT BUT, I had to grind away a couple millimeters of the brake caliper to get them to fit over the brakes. So, technically. No they did not fit originally. Note you will also need a Lug kit to bolt them to the Discovery. You can find it here: amzn.to/3lcte29

I own 2007 land rover lr3 hse I installed 275x65x18 mickey Thompson baja legend exp tires on a black rhino arsenal rim 2 things in doing adding Johnson rods 3inch in front 2.5 in rear should let me trick rover into riding at stock height into offroad height other 7s installing my Arb bullbumper not sure what you into on your build or you no longer have air bags for me I love my air bags

What is the ET on the wheels? Seems like the perfect fit, right to the edge of the fender. Here in EU none of the tyre can stick out...

So are you saying 19" rims with 275/65R19 tires will work and not rub after installing the 2 1/2" lift rods. Or what did you mean by if we used 19" wheels, we would be in a lot better situation? Would i have to use an entirely different size tire to fit with the 19" wheels and not rub? And what size All terrian tire would work best?

Tire size matters with rubbing the tire on the body. BUT The reference to 19 inch rims was all about scraping the brakes. 18 inch rims actually were so small that they hit the Brake Calipers. Having a -19 inch rim, would make it easier to clear the brake calipers. (But you would still have to recalculate the size of the tires)

also be aware that 275/65R19 Tires are actually Bigger than 275/65R18 Tires. And would be expected to be more likely to rub, certainly in the front.

Si, I just bought a set of wheels and tires 33x12.50R22's with spacers. The previous owner showed me pics with it, and they fit well, but I'm not sure if he had the suspension on high🤔. He said it was stock, do you think they will fit?

I think there is a good chance they will fit, but I also think there is a very solid chance the fronts will rub when turning sharp. Check out 3:05 these 32s rub at that point. But just lightly. Your tires will be about half inch closer to the front bumper wheel well. Good news is you can just trim off the front part of bumper/splash guard if that becomes a problem. But just bolt them on first and check first. Some wheels and spacers turn out better than others and you not need anything. No on my disco 4 I tired it didn't quite work. When he said "trim" its very minor take some sand paper and you can't see from the outside.

I own a 2008 LR3 SE V8 if you don't mind me asking about something else. The 20in Range Rover supercharged wheels you had on before you did the swap was the ride harsh? I'm in NYC and it's pothole city here was wondering how's the ride with the RRS wheels is, thanks.

Hello, while harsh is a subjective item, my answer is no. With 20s it is not harsh. I even had 22s on my Range Rover and it too was plenty good around my roads in NC. 20s on the LR3 should still be comfortable, particularly since you still have air suspension. As for the 20s seen on this LR4. It is a pleasant and comfortable ride. Hope this helps. Good luck!

So what happens if you just get 162 Rear wheels all around the lr3 then they would sit flush all around ? I just say that because the rear set up looks good, could you do a video with the rears in the front and the fronts on the rear so see ? Would be helpful and that way we know to buy which offset wheel better

HI Sammy, I dont have any vids of that layout right now, but to give some concept of the difference, here are the stats on the offset difference front to back with 162's Front: 8 x 18 ET 34 Rear: 8.5 x 18 ET 37 ---- So there is only a 3mm difference in offset and 12mm difference in overall rim width. As for poke out, it might stick out about 9 mm wider if you used the rear 162s instead of the front 162s. The fronts I would expect to tuck in a bit more , but also have a closer contact (rubbing) on the front brakes.

Hi Emmanuel, the rims at the start are 20 inch. They have Overland center caps, which might be an indication of the upgrade package they may have come with. I noticed like mine, your fronts at full lock rub on the inside part of the chassis. If you check in your video on full lock you can see where it rubs. Have you noticed that? Ive got 255/60R20 currently at thats where they rub for me, so have just bought 285/50R20 tyres. These are about .5" shorter in overall height so hoping that stops the rub!

They work just fine without trimming and it's not even that much trimming just some sand paper for 5 mins and it's done
