Opening up with Burch for the win. The original bags you could get for the 1100 were swmotech bags which to me are way better than those hard bags and you can upgrade to much bigger bags with the same mounting hardware. Also if there's one upgrade I think everyone gets for the bike, its a new seat. I haven't seen anyone praise the stock seat.

In December of 1984 I moved from San Bernardino California to Tampa Bay Florida. I made the trip on my 1982 Honda 450 Nighthawk. Everything I owned was on that overloaded little bike. Things I didn't think about, snow, 120 mile range, people not liking a dirty long haired boy camping in their town. Layed the bike down in Houston, had to play Frogger gathering up all my stuff on I-10 during rush hour. Sounds like a bad trip but was a great adventure. Too young and dumb to know any better. Plus there was that sunrise in New Mexico..... These days near 40yrs later, I need more planning and comfort. Ahh the good old days, or is it rose colored glasses?

I originally got my Rebel DCT because my fingers in my left hand lockup. But through the time I've owned it, I've grown to love it! I'm looking to kit it out to do long cross-country trips. So far, I have a Memphis Shades screen that works really well, I might try to save up for their larger bat wing.

I live in Daytona, 2022 1100 rebel. Yes long trips are not recommended on the rebel. But, if you are maybe 5'9" or shorter pbly not too bad. But I use it every day on local stuff and it's excellent😊. Shout out to Burch for info on the passenger foot pegs. Like to type more but the beach is calling my name.

Race teams are surgical…I remember watching BTCC in oulton park back in the early 00’s (British touring cars) and I was Blown away with the details of the cars! Loved this fly on the wall video with the circus aka, Daytona bike week!
