Animal Man straight up met Grant Morrison. The best consequence of that was Grant Morrison technically becoming a C-list DC character and later joining the Suicide Squad. He could literally rewrite reality, but got writer's block mid fight and got killed

Honestly i am so happy he is back. I loved his & swamp things runs in new 52. And while i know swamp thing is the more loved one, after seeing him in the beginning, i hoped animal man would return.

Yo this video absolutely made my day!! Animal Man is hands down my all time favorite superhero and I get so stoked when I see people giving him some love. Imo he’s supposed to be to animal powered heroes what Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman are to their respective sides of DC. I really hope more gets done with the character he’s easily DC’s most criminally underrated hero

It’s treated less like Deadpool-ish with comedy and such, but it’s a lot more darker than that. I think it’s a good commentary on the current Zeb Wells run on Spider Man, even though it was written in the eighties.
