Will it run and drive after 56 years 1936 ford 1.5 ton flathead v8 truck

This 1936 Ford truck has been in the same garage since 1968 and the engine has been tore apart in several hundred pieces for the past 56 years. The truck was parked around 19 6768 for a valve job and it never got finished. Luckily the motor seems to be in pretty good shape and we’re going to get it running and driving and hopefully back on the road the tires on this truck for 1935 altogether. The truck seems to be in fairly good shape.

Back in 1961 me and a buddy rebuilt a 1936 PU just like your grain truck. After a total rebuild and painting we decided to start it after the six month rebuild. I was holding the battery and pushing the starter while my buddy used my glass jug of gasoline for my lawn mower to prime the carb. This resulted in a backfire which trapped me in the garage when my buddy dropped the glass jug setting the garage, the truck and me on fire. I made it out without being burned but the PU and the garage didn't fair as well. Thanks for the memories.

This dude has the best will it start videos, he does the stuff that looks like it would never run again and bang he gets it running, no drama or boi stories, thank you sir! I really appreciate the clean language and the fact the video is about what the title says there ain't no click bait or having to watch something else other than what is advertised, so many boys need to grow up and learn most men don't want to look at them we just show up to see the toys and don't care about nothing else, glad you don't leave us disappointed. I got kids 4-14 and we all love watching as a family. I wish this dude was our neighbor so we could just watch him in person, dude seems like a decent feller to hang with.

this thing is in beautiful condition for a JMS video. i've seen other 'will it run' channels where a couple of overly happy jerkoffs with a film crew and fancy editing wouldn't touch this, and that's probably if they weren't absolutely sure they could get it running for their 1M subscribers. my man, you may not be fancy, but you're legit.

It was hilarious that the trooper went riding down the street after you got it back to the shop, someone probably called in it. It's one scary looking old truck riding down the street, loud too. I'd love to see more of anything you've got running in that era period with a driving video!

I pulled the pan and it had 2 inches of sludge in the bottom of the pan! I also pulled the valve cover off and the whole thing was packed with sludge as well. I had been told the engine had been "rebuilt" yeah!! I cleaned everything up good and that engine ran like a sewing machine!
