You push cars, you have Hooligans show up in your garage that cause engines to run, not run, run, (they're very funny), you throw heavy objects at Dubworks, hehehehe, you find "The Extremely Rare" VW s (how about now, no...how about now, no....and now, no.....), you make bets and win and you do this all within 68+ minutes (how'd the young man get so knowledgeable?). Really enjoyed the longer video and the comedy with dubwerks. Love when you prove him wrong. He’s a good kid and has learned a lot. Plus his welding skills are impressive. Hey Jason I found your channel land have been binge watching since Your enthusiasm is infectious. My first car was a 62 that had been brought back by a serviceman from Germany. It had a canvas sunroof and original shoulder only seatbelts???? This was in 1970 and I loved that car but a series of mechanical issues and an accident made me sell it. A trip up the NJ Turnpike on three cylinders was the tipping point Did I mention it had no heat All that said, I wish I still had it Maybe there’s one out there Love the vids with your son, thanks

I work on VW's in the 70's when Dear Old Dad bought bugs for Daughters or Son's they forgot to tell em it's air cooled engine so they added water 💧 🤷 gave a young girl a engine to her cause she just got the car! In was in Ct!!!; )

Easy static timing method. Keep an old plug wire and properly gapped plug. Remove #1 plug wire from distributor cap and plug test plug wire with plug in. Turn engine over by hand until the timing mark lines up with the split in the case. This 67 is probably 7.5 BTDC mark on crank pulley. Loosen distributor clamp. Turn ignition switch on and hold plug tip near engine case so that you can see the spark and slowly rotate distributor until it sparks. That is your static timing. Tighten distributor clamp down, check again, and you are done except for replacing the real #1 plug wire back into the distributor cap. If you want then you can check timing with a light but it should be right on.,. Keep test plug wire and plug in car in case you need to adjust timing when you are out on the road somewhere. Credit EZGZ for this method.

It's definitely worth more than 5-7k. Check out the price of a new top. It's 4k just for the top alone. Even with all the work it needs, it's still a 10-12k '67 vert.

I had a 67 long ago. I seem to remember it was a 6 volt with a 12 volt harness. I sold it before the floors rotted out.

My 67 has a two position light switch, parking and headlights

Dual pockets on the doors, is a convertible thing...I've had 3 (1972, 1978, and 1977-current)

Distributer vacuum advanced also has spring's if they don't return it stays advanced to soon vacuum gauge is right as rain

Gear knob (shift knob) is not 67 only. Was used on European 1200 bugs in the 70's. Also what about a 68 Early Bay, and all the 1yr only bits on those, be cool to see one on the channel.

The inside door chrome openers are not one year only. They are on the 68 also, not sure about 69. The shifter knob is 67 only. Also I believe the ash tray is 67 only.
