Those old CH Macks were great trucks. I rode in a lot of them with my dad when I was a kid. That motor is most likely a Mack E7 350. Sounds really healthy too!

Just a young tech here. I work for Mack/Volvo building telebelts & concrete pumpers. Currently the Mack Terrapro chassis can be built up to an 8axle straight truck. 3 steers, 2 pushers, 2 drives, and 2 assisted drive rear steers for a total of nearly 200,000lbs of weight.

G'day from Perth Western Australia!! Those line bush whackers are crap continually stuff up! The best ones to get Hank are those with a proper blade! No more messing about with line anymore and it tangling up and not spooling! Blade bush whackers are the way to go. Been watching for several years and the various projects to will it start. You& Wiley are a great inspiration to all showing that determination pays off in the end sometimes things dont go to plan but a positive attitude wins the day. Love seeing old iron being discovered started and finally moving to a new home.

Thanks for another great video Hank and Wiley. It was interesting and enjoyable for sure. Congratulations. You two got another one running. Great just great. And it moves and the box and tarp work. Pretty darn good I think. That old Mack just needed a little attention and off it was running. These old Mack’s are as hard as iron. Not too bad an old truck. Thanks for taking us along on this one. You all did good. Wish there was a way around having to carry those batteries. Did you ever think about running down one of these starting karts. I have seen those before and they work good. You might be able to find one on one of these seller channels. Would prevent you from carrying batteries. Just a suggestion. Just saying. About it I guess. You both take care and be safe. The Gold bulldog means it has all Mack Parts. The silver dog has mixed parts. In case you did not know.🐕

& back in the late 60's & into the 70's the Gold Dog was a sign that the truck had a maxidyne engine under the hood .like Gary mentioned , The Gold dog means now days it's a 100% purebred Bulldog . The English back in WWI called the Mack AC model Bulldogs because of how the front of the AC model reminded them of an English bulldog . The nickname stuck . Mack

Wow! I can't believe whoever put those batteries in that International, put the hold downs on upside down. The nuts should've been on top. And why not just use a 9/16 wrench on those screw post batteries instead of that big ole crescent? 😂

Another fine video from the dynamic duo lol! My mother worked for mack motors in Bridgewater nj,they had a plant right on the main highway,pretty huge place,they had an open house shindig and I sat in some of the newest trucks(this was back in the early 80s mind you) but I so wanted a bull dog to go on my dresser but it was too expensive for my wallet at the time lol

Good video Hank & Wiley. Looks like a E7-300 or E7-350 Mack engine under the hood of the CH613 .. I know with the R , DM & R models if we had a starter go out and we couldn't get the truck in the shop fast enough due to a job that we had to finish we would put air to the tanks ( we had valve stems in the tank to connect an air hose ) Release the parking brake & pull start our Bulldogs . Those old Macks are hard to k*ll . Mack

Mack's are my utmost Favorite trucks ever ... I even worked for a summer at the Mack factory making the Frames on a line in Burlington Ontario Canada if memory serves me . Been a Long LONG time since .. Love these trucks and even Drive them in my Simulator :)

Drove one similar to that for seven years, four axle truck with a four axle pup. It was actually a pretty comfortable old truck. Our company never retired a truck to the woods if it was drivable. When we used them all we wanted and then the trucks went to auction for someone else to use.

I was thinking of a Ford Louisville with a stuffed engine to get my Cummins V504 into for a farm hack. After this a Mack CH might be just right having some thinking about it. Or an R series for that matter? The other candidate for a repower I considered is a Unimog since they're pretty cheap with damage like a wrecked engine. These videos are a treat to watch Hank & Wylie. Particularly the trucks bulldozers and loaders. 🐂
