Lots of good stuff today! Will Middleton kids be able to use Villages facilities and drive on the golf cart trails? Police are issuing lots of citations for golf carts and vehicles speeding in TV. Is This a friendly place or is it just propaganda? Can people overcome shyness after moving here and some great bloopers for you at the end of today's show. We sure hope you enjoy it!

I wanted to share an experience we had on our lifestyle visit. We had taken a golf cart trip late in the evening from the Atwood neighborhood by Brownwood Square to Lake Sumter Landing. It was a beautiful ride and we walked the lakefront when we arrived. On our way back the GPS started glitching out so we pulled off the cart path to let it reboot. Not even 15 seconds went by and two guys pulled up next to us and asked if we were okay. They were visiting from Great Britain and offered to lead us back to our neighborhood. We accepted and followed them all the way back. The crazy part of the story is that they were staying right outside Lake Sumpter Landing and went way out of there way to make sure that we got home. We made them late to the King's Coronation party they were attending. Two guys from Europe taking about an hour out of their day (their return trip back included) to make sure we made it home. It doesn't get any better than that.

People are so friendly here. We've been coming here for 17 years & now we've finally purchased a home. Currently we are seasonal residents. When we go back to our home state of Washington, often times people go out of their way to NOT make eye contact, smile or just say hi. It's really weird. I'm always so glad when I'm back in The Villages.

There are really great people in the Villages. Our first month we were here we encountered a very nice gentleman. We were still newbies driving our golf cart. We were just leaving Brownwood and a gentleman was traveling behind us. He sped up an drove around us and stopped. He told us our front tire was going flat. He told us the best thing to do was turn around and take it to Brownwood Golf Cart service area. It was so easy and we only paid $10. Best &10 we have spent. We were very grateful!

There are pants and capris made of chlorine resistant fabrics for swimming, surfing, paddle boarding, all kinds of water activities. They provide coverage, little extra warmth, and usually sun protection.

My husband were surprised by how friendly people are in the SW part of Florida. We live outside of Philadelphia and people can be grumpy. No one automatically says hi to everyone they walk by like they do in FL. We realized after being there a while that it is the mid westerners who make it so friendly. You can't walk 10 feet without someone saying hi. When we come back north after the winter I am in the habit of greeting everyone I see and some people look at me like I have 2 heads. The friendliness really rubs off on you.

There are over 140,000 people in the Villages!! So there are many different personalities as would be expected 😊 Since you are popular and well-known in the Villages, people are more attracted to you! But overall since most people are happy to live here enjoying the lifestyle, most are pleasant

Having previously recently lived in The Villages for about five years, we always had cheerful hey or hello and a wave from people we would pass on the street or see at facilities such as pools, the parks, and the squares. Our neighbors were pleasant and not pushy or nosey. Song: Instrumental, Benny Goodman's "Sing sing sing". Got it for your puzzle.

I was at a "groovy" theme birthday party for my 2-year old great-niece last week. She didn't care much for the music being played until I pulled up Ina-da-Gadda-Da-Vida on my phone, and she went wild for it. It was hilarious. (None of the 30-year-old parents there had ever heard the song before, but the young moms wanted me to send them a link so they could play it for their own kids later.)

Excellent makeup & costumes Linda & Jerry. I can attest to good Samaritans in The Villages...one of the first times visiting & driving a golf cart, I got lost. A helpful Villager had me follow her until I got to my destination. Another Villager helped me with a minor problem with my rental car at the Wal-Mart near Spanish Springs. He wouldn't take any money for his efforts. Good people abound in The Villages.

In My Life by the Beatles, an homage to an all time favorite band, but more so for the wonderful lyrics. Would love it to be my memorial song as a tribute to our 3 children and grandchildren. If you're always at the daily music in the squares the word scramble is obvious. Another entertaining and fun Halloween show. Loved your costumes
