I have a 7 month old Mini Pit, and she is just beautiful. Her name is Angel to which I have added "Of Destruction". I gave her one of these supposedly indestructible toys YESTERDAY. One of the squeaks still works, or it did a little while ago. If I see TUFFY, or INDESTRUCTIBLE on a toy I just laugh. What seems to survive the best are the plain rope toys. She unties them and turns them into dental floss. That worries me sometimes but hasn't been a problem.

I don't get why people get angry saying he isn't a pitbull! That's a pitbull if I ever seen one!

Pitties are so smart and love to dismantle toys! My pittie’s Wisdom Panel says she’s about 3/4 American Staffordshire Terrier and 1/4 Boxer. Even though there is only one actual American Pit Bull Terrier breed, somehow all the blockhead/barrel-chested dogs get labeled pit bulls these days. I used to volunteer at our county shelter (where I adopted her from) and the vast majority of pitties were AmStaff Terrier mixes. I just hope they all get loving furever homes regardless of breed! #adoptdontshop

That puzzle toy deserved extra points given you could barely get it away from him. With my dog, we had to show him once, he still couldn't do it but he got closer.

I love those outward hound puzzles! We've got at least like 3-4 of them in our house! I do think starting with a level 1 and working your way up the levels is super important though. And also helping them out when they start getting frustrated. When I first did a level 1 puzzle with my dog, he got so frustrated over it and stopped playing with it. So with some advice from some dog trainers, I made the puzzles easier in the beginning to build engagement and positive associations with the puzzles (by easier, I mean like for the puzzle you have it could help to pull out all the tabs for him so all he has to do is slide. And then as he gets better, then start locking a few of them). And then when my dog got stuck on the puzzle, I'd show him how to do it or help him out to keep the puzzle a positive experience. Eventually he got so good at it that he could solve the entire puzzle laying down, which was when I knew I could level him up. I also would not consider my dog to be the smartest dog either lol. It's great mental enrichment for them and helps work their brains to prevent cognitive decline as they age. But with enrichment, it's important to keep it from being frustrating, because once it's too frustrating, then it's no longer enrichment at that point. Also... Jax is the stinking cutest lil (big) pitty!

Will definitely be trying the red one and hammer. My pittie absolutely destroys the black Kongs within a day. Was cheaper to get her a couple of the the big bones from Dollar tree every week(ACTUAL ANIMAL BONES before anyone rips me lol) They really are a hidden Gem

Another of Jax’s toy videos is the reason that I found this channel. I have a bully mix that’s a big chewer too. I’ve gotten him the Kong Club monthly box. He loves all the toys in it. He’ll also destroy toys quickly, but these toys take him a lot longer to destroy.

I love the plushies, but yeah they are worse than useless with a chewer. So, I have been trying to teach my critter to treat the soft toys like a baby. Something to cuddle up with and kind of gently mouth. She's been sort of receptive to it. I also make sure a tougher toy is available.

Funny enough is that my female is an aggressive power chewer & my male will take delicate care of his toys. He literally still has a few of his toys from when he was a little puppy

We have a power chewer and got the BullyMake box for a few months, but ended up canceling because all their toys are the tough nylabone and our dog had exactly zero interest like Jax. Now we get the Bark Box Power Chewer and while not all the toys last very long our pup enjoys them a million times more. Plus their customer service is excellent!

Came across your video looking for some good indestructible toys for my dog … I have owned 2 bullmastiffs and a english bull terrier who were great with toys but my 8 month old morkie can destroy a toy in seconds .. she even had the kong extreme and wrecked them with in minutes

We also have one of the bullymake toys we got the steak and our dogs haven’t really chewed on it and I got it this month probably because they have so many toys but it has been lightly chewed on a store that I go to. The chicken is great for small breeds that usually like to destuff toys. My weenie destroys every stuffed toy yet the 2 chickens she's had have never been defluffed.

I know this video is 5 months ago but are pitbull blue heeler mix needs aggressive to her toys too so we’re always on the hunt trying to find indestructible dog toys that he won’t destroy in seconds because plush toys get ripped up now we have a lot of toys especially plush toys but we found a lot of great aggressive chewer toys and speaking of aggressive chewer that red rubber bone toy that you showed we have had our for 2 years now and it’s still holding up we have that one and our pitbull blue heeler mix loves it and is still holding up and we got it like a year ago and since we got that toy we got a Boston terrier and she’s played with it too but they have so many toys now that they kind of forgotten about it but we still have it but it’s definitely holding up just some of the red bumps on the toy are chewed off but The rest of the red bumps are still on they’re definitely a good aggressive chewer toy

I cannot begin to tell you how much I can relate to this video. I have a 45 pound (half of Jax!!) Aussie Shepherd who destroys any toy in seconds. I always struggle when I go to pet smart to find the perfect toy for her without making me feel that I spent all that money for nothing. Right now TONKA is the only toy she does not destroy. I'm going to check out some of these toys and maybe one will work for her haha. LOVE the puzzle tho, my girl Pepper loves them and asks to play with them. SO cute. Wish there were more videos like this!

He looks a lot like my brothers dog that he got to be sort of like a guard dog due to a scary situation that happened about 5ish years ago long story short not a good guard dog I'm more afraid of his miniature labradoodle than I am his "guard dog" but he looks like my brothers dog who is a pit bull mix but he's half pit and half St. Bernard and the temperament is identical as well it's line the St. Bernard takes over and he's the sweetest thing ever he loves to play fetch and will just give you the sweetest puppy eyes that melt your heart until you play with him

I wish pitbulls were allowed in my country. Sadly they are forbidden, which is weird. AmStaffs are allowed, but they are kinda restricted, and you play a lot more tax for them (same for Rottweilers, Dobermanns and many other breeds, even though I am from Germany, where Rotties and Dobermanns origin from!) Do you know if AmStaffs are similar to Pitbulls? Not much info to find on that topic.

You really should be calling him a pit mix honestly. If you were to call a vet for an appointment and they ask the breed, you'd say "pit mix" so, why tell everyone it's a pit?
