I don't hate pickleball until my local tennis courts disappear and pickleball courts pop-up in a matter of weeks.

My problem w pickleball is it is taking over tennis courts...leave my tennis courts ALONE, build pickleball courts. Otherwise, as a tennis lover, yes, I love racquet sports

You’re so right on every level. PB is fun but it is gaining more popularity in North America then tennis. The older players like PB better then tennis.. it appears to be more sociable because it keeps you together while waiting for your next game. At least at public and private club venues.

At the recreational level, it can be a problem due to court occupation. But, I do find it to be a great supplement and training tool for tennis. Fast reactions, soft touches, and volleying are key elements of pickleball, which works wonders in enhancing your net game in tennis.

I hate pickleball and will never play it. But there are people who can't play tennis maybe due to age or injury, so I guess pickleball might be an acceptable alternative for those people.

I hate pickleball. I don't want to play it and the prospect of having tennis courts converted for pickleball makes my blood boil. If it was up to me I would erase it from history and I would wipe the memories of all the idiots who love this idiotic pastime MIB style. And then I have to stop the manufacture of the equipment.

Padel is very physical

Pickleball is the dorkiest sport in the world. Hold that dorky paddle, hit that stupid wiffle ball and make that horrible noise--all while not needing to run. Makes bowlers look cool. Makes shuffleboard seem exhausting.

Abomination. Pickleball nor padel will definitely cannot replace the Modern Tennis as we have The Next Gen Tennis to carry the legacy. Modern Tennis born from "Real Tennis". "Real Tennis" is much better than both Pickleball and Padel combined. Play Table Tennis if you really want to conserve more spaces.

Pickleball is a nuisance because it produces a nasty, annoying sound, like squash. Tennis, on the other hand, is quiet and calming.

I play Pickleball on 1 day and Tennis on 2 days a week. I'll gladly, any day, pick Tennis over Pickleball. Pickleball is easier to get my friends into which is probably the only and main reason I play. But nothing can satisfy rhe Tennis craving I have like playing Tennis lol.

Pickleball is a sport for old people if ur over 60 its a great way to stay active 100% But if ur under 60 and have no disability and u love pickleball ur just fcking terrible at tennis😂

My issue with pickle ball it’s cannibalizing my tennis courts every where you play. The lines mess up the lines in tennis while serving. Some of the folks are cloud and obnoxious but some tennis players are too. Make separate courts for everyone pickleball and tennis.

I'll shit on pickleball cuz it's so easy but there's no denying that playing it with other tennis players it can be really fun. Don't like playing with only pickleballers cuz they just do that boring dink stuff

The big issue is because they are taking over public tennis courts. If it's a real sport, they need to build their own courts instead of taking over the already scarce public tennis courts

The first time I played, I beat the guy who was teaching me! So easy compared to tennis! Believe that!

PB has its place. After Covid I see entire families coming to the courts. Haven’t seen that type of togetherness since rollerblading hit the scene. I can appreciate the value of family❤. That being said, PB people are rude and selfish! Loud and disruptive.!They bring Boom boxes to the courts with beach chairs lined up on the tennis courts 🤷🏾‍♂️😂😂😂. I’ve seen a couple of scuffles and heated argument. Some, Walk right across the courts when tennis ball is in play… no edict.. Please build them courts away from my tennis courts. I’m telling you the day is coming when a huge argument will break out with tennis vs pickle ball. Oh btw the senior citizen want their game back 😜.

Alternative racket sports are nothing new. We have badminton, ping-pong, squash. Did those replace tennis? Not really. So two more are gaining momentum. I don't see any of them as a replacement for the other. Enjoy them all

In life, if you are asleep at the wheel you get overtaken. This is what is happening to tennis; it has been on the decline for years and pickleball has become a more attractive proposition. Don't blame pickleball for taking over tennis courts, blame tennis. I play and enjoy both btw.
