If Alonso can win the league at Leverkusen and come to Anfield with that great achievement on his resume I think the players would respect him quickly. We will see though how well he handles and bigger and more stressful job. Klopp is stepping down because he’s a very emotional man at a very emotional club giving 100% every day for years. It’s not an easy job to come to Anfield and integrate yourself and succeed like he has.

In 2018, a distant echo reached my ears from across the Atlantic, whispering of a team in red that transcended the boundaries of a sport. It wasn't just about goals or victories; it was about principles, fairness, and doing things right. Liverpool FC emerged, adorned with names like Salah, Milner, Henderson, Robertson, Mane, and Firmino - a symphony of talents guided by the maestro himself, Jurgen Klopp. Klopp isn't just a manager; he is an architect of dreams, weaving threads of energy, positivity, and belief into the very fabric of Liverpool. In the alleys of Anfield, a transformation unfolded - not just of a team but of a city, a fan base, and a mindset. Each match was a brushstroke on a canvas, crafting a masterpiece of resilience and camaraderie. And today, as Klopp announces his departure to us, I reflect on a journey that transcended the boundaries of football. His legacy isn't just the trophies, but the spirit, the fight, and the indomitable will to stand up for what's right. In every cheer from the Kop, in every chant echoing through the city, Klopp's impact reverberates-a testament to the enduring power of a team that plays not just with skill, but with heart. As the final whistle approaches, I honor and celebrate the man who infused not just a game, but a way of life, with his artistry. Klopp, the conductor of dreams, will leave behind a symphony that will echo through the hallowed corridors of Anfield and beyond, inspiring generations to come. You'll Never Walk Alone ♥️

I'm a united fan and the news of Klopps departure out of the EPL saddens me. This shows that he wasnt just a manager, otherwise i wouldnt care, infact i'd be delighted since he was the manager of Liverpool. He is a great entertainer, a great human being, obviously a great manager and i genuinly believe that without him the EPL won't be the same. It will be the end of an era, not only for Liverpool, but the premiere league as well. Without him forcing Pep to excell, City won't be as good, if they even survive the 115 charges (which they shouldnt). But i have something to comfort me, which many of you dont have. I'm german and the thought of him saving our dreadful, embarrassing national football team gives me plenty of reasons to be excited:D

Exactly. A 3 at the back formation would be great to allow Trent to operate in a CM/deep lying playmaker role like Xabi had in the Benitez era. Szoboszlai can easily operate on the right as a RM with Mac Allister CAM with a new DM brought in to play beside Trent in the deep role. easy question tbh. First, you can't rank Pep because of what's going on with the City FFP investigation. If City are guilty, then anything Pep won at City is called into question, making all of his achievements in the Prem fradulent. With that in mind, until we find out if City is convicted or not, Pep CANNOT be compared here. 1. SAF 2. Mourinho 3. Klopp 4. Wenger Ferguson did the MOST with the least money. Had players that genuinely don't like each other all playing for the club like their lives depended on it. Mourinho won 3 PL titles, that's more than Klopp, and the same number as Wenger but in literally 1/7 the time. Mourinho has won CL with a much worse team (Porto) than Wenger's Arsenal losing to Barca (controversy aside) Klopp is the only manager in the PL that has actually been able to challenge City at all. 4. Wenger had 22 years and won the PL 3 times. SAF was at Man U for 4 years longer than Wenger was at Arsenal, but in that timeframe won 10 more PL titles and TWO CL. Which is why is EASILY the last place.

I think Alexander Arnold would renew after summer of 2025, not unless Jude Bellingham keeps on having private conversation with him and secretly recruiting him to join Real Madrid to have another Galactico, but to the Real madrid fans (including management of real madrid, florentino perez), must not pursue TAA because he was unable to defend well against Vinicius jr, not just him but other players like Jeremy Doku (Manchester City), Marcus Rashford (Manchester United), Anthony Gordon (New Castle United), Martinelli (Arsenal),, and of Course he will not even keep up with Kylian Mbappe (PSG). I would rather see him as a captain of liverpool, and have it managed by Steven Gerard. Or maybe not - maybe Klopp needs the right support, the tight resources and all the other things he's had to do what he's done, who even knows. @vinicy78
@vinicy78 4 ай бұрын
Mass is an overstatement. Players will eventually leave but not all at once if the owners find a suitable replacement. Most of the players that arrived in 2022 and later have contracts until about 2027 or 2028 so unless clubs are putting in crazy bids it's doubtful

Genuinely hope the Saudi project falls apart before it gets that far. It’s scarcely been one year on some players and they want to leave. It one thing to have a few players leave after taking paychecks for a year but a couple of players didn’t even last that long. It must be a shithole over there.

The lvl of disrespect to Klopp...I can't understand....the guy completely made Liverpool one of the best clubs...and they spent twice less than City. Same with Wenger. Pep is not better than Klopp. Alex Klopp Pep Wenger....that is why I don't come to these espn channels they just are very very biased. City were already playing great and they had great resources. But these guys klopp Wenger they just change clubs....

1. Pep 2. Klopp 3. Fergi Fergi-era PL was very weak so the respect to him is due to the longevity .. Honestly, modern day PL is way more stronger than ever and what Klopp and Pep are doing is unprecedented. And while Pep does have more financial backing than Klopp, he still did win all the trophies.. it's too close between them

1. Frank is delusional for saying Pep > SAF, in terms of Prem career. He was alive and present for the 25 years of SAF's dominance, so he has no excuse for being so ignorant on that. Shameful. 2. Frank, again, saying that Liverpool is more attractive than United after United just poached Berrada from City and are likely to poach Ashworth from Newcastle. I don't want to say United is surely going to be back, but they're clearly building a new project behind the scenes and anybody that's confident in their skillset would want to join one of the biggest clubs to take part in that. Imagine leaving a club with unlimited resources to go to that unattractive United club; guess Frank knows better. lmao

@CoconutJewce
@CoconutJewce 4 ай бұрын
@@flynngoodwo No, I don't. It's obvious that SAF > Pep in terms of their United/City tenures. If you wanna argue Pep's entire career for SAF's entire career, then that's more debatable. In terms of Prem legacy, which is what the question asked, no manager touches SAF at this point. Again, Frank is old enough to understand that fact, regardless of him being scarred from being bent over by United for years.

SAF arguably made the EPL what it is today with a little bit of Wenger sprinkled in...Pep, Klopp, and Jose came into the EPL after the fact and had competitive wages and huge budgets to work with because of trail that was blazed by SAF...the EPL was not THE league until he came around...
