The most recent example was the 1942 Maple Leafs' comeback, recovering from a 0-3 deficit in the series against the Detroit Red Wings. Regardless of the historical significance, it will be a game of the century. Let's go Oilers!

When the Panthers are on the power play in these Finals, they have scored exactly one goal. On the same Panthers power plays, Edmonton has scored two goals. Oilers have forced the Panthers to make mistakes and defensive lapses by using speed, to the degree that the Panthers are hesitant to commit, seemingly second-guessing themselves with zero confidence. Even Bobrovsky.

If the Panthers lose game 7 in Florida, what can they say? They had the Oilers down 3 games to 0. Doubtful the Panthers will say they choked.

@@davidr5961 pretty wild take. does bobrovsky score all the goals too lol? FLA has been outscored 18-5 in the last 3 games. florida's PP is garbage (1/19 entire series), even have given up 3 SHG's. verhaeghe, tkachuk and reinhart have a combined 3 goals the entire SCF. florida has had no answer for edmonton's speed and ability to breakout of their own d-zone. there is nothing to lead me to believe that FLA can actually win monday night.

the whole Canada thing is way overblown in the media ... club teams do not represent a country. Fact is pretty much all Stanley Cup winning teams have a majority of Canadian players, a Canadian coach, and a Canadian GM

good analysis... except Panthers are not a more complete team and the reason they aren't 'playing well' is because Edmontons adjustments have nullified the Panthers strengths with their speed and skill.

"Set the tone" and "build momentum" are just synynoms for play well. Essentially useless jargon analysts use to sound smart 😅. It's also a falacy that Panthers cant lose 4 in a row. We're not talking about 4 games anymore, this is 1 game

As soon as this woman said the Panthers have "played more 60 minute games in this series" she completely lost all credibility. Even a novice hockey fan could see that just isnt true.
