Have you ever seen a politician change so much on policy, attitude and apparent ideology? Whether the issue is transgenderism, education, Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, or immigration, Governor Spencer Cox has made apparent 180-degree turns.
Was he naive when he took office? Would he be ashamed of his decisions in his first two years in office? Does he feel bad about spreading gender ideology by declaring his pronouns to kids? Or is he just politicking?

For those of you who voted for cox, it's good that you have seen the error of your ways, but this is what happens when you don't do thorough research beforehand and now everyone will pay the price allowing these people into office having power over us. Just as the scriptures have demonstrated, it is very difficult to remove a wicked King once they have taken power and can usually only be removed afterwards through much bloodshed. Perhaps because it is america, things will turn out differently but when you consider the corruption which now permeates at every level, I don't know how you can think it possible to have a legitimate election to vote someone out. Socialism has been in the United States now for over 100 years and their infrastructure is strong and deep and permeates all levels of government, in both parties, and in all factions of society. They have controlled the course of US history much more than most people realize. Just as Kruschev told Ezra Taft Benson, we will spoon feed communism to you and your children in small doses and one day you will wake up and realize that you already have communism and we won't have to fire a shot, you will fall into our hands like overripe fruit.... these words have proven to be prophetic, but the machine was in place long before Kruschev. Joe McCarthy knew exactly what was going on but he was effectively shamed and discredited.

@OntheOtherHandVideos
@OntheOtherHandVideos 10 күн бұрын
@@CryptoSurfer Great! But mind reading doesn't really work, we can only go off of the words offered. "One of the worst results of that process was the inability of legislators to understand the financial impacts that will be forced upon the Utah High School Athletic Association (UHSAA) and local Utah school districts that will inevitably get sued under this bill. The UHSAA is a private organization and runs the real risk of insolvency and bankruptcy, putting our entire state athletics program in danger. Having just completed a lengthy and very expensive lawsuit, the organization does not have significant reserves on hand. Furthermore, the UHSAA has been clear that if the state ever attempted a ban, the state would also need to provide indemnification to hold the organization harmless in the forthcoming lawsuit. Unfortunately, HB11 provides no financial protection for the UHSAA, only an explicit invitation for a lawsuit. With several lawsuits already being litigated across the country, why would Utah insist - even encourage - expensive and debilitating legal action with no recourse for the organization that serves our own student athletes and schools? I hope you can agree that if we want to protect women’s sports, bankrupting the institution that is responsible for their participation is a bad place to start." I find it reasonable in this very litigious time that the organizations responsible for high school sports etc can and would get taken to court by very wealthy adversaries in an attempt to make a change, thus quite possibly shutting down or at least disrupting sports for literally all public school kids in the state. Which is at least part of his explanation. Reasonable minds can differ on this subject, but that seems like a very real and very widespread consequence - if everyone is willing to take that chance, great! But I'd also wager there are many who would adamantly hate that outcome.

My wife & I are children of the 80’s and 90’s. We grew up in a more sane time. I started kindergarten in 80. My wife got a teaching degree In elementary ed / special ed. That was just before we were able to adopt 3 babies that are now 11, 9, & 7. We had seen our country changing and the coming storm. During my wife’s student teaching portion of her degree requirements our eyes became wide open to just how little to no say that parents actually have in their kid’s education. All that to tell you that we switched to homeschooling just prior to Covid. So when Covid happened it had no real effect on us. Every day since we are constantly reminded of the correctness of our decision. It wasn’t an easy decision because we were jumping out into uncharted territory. We pondered & prayed about it for a while. In the end none of our kids get left behind with a 1 to 3 teacher to student ratio. My knows at any second of the day or night where they are doing well or struggling at. She can make course corrections daily. This is an excellent analysis of Gov. Cox. I am in UT and there is a real push to infiltrate the traditional conservative “red state” UT with people who appear to align with conservative values, but once elected push liberal policies as a way to turn our state from red to blue (kind of like what has been done to CO). I saw this the night of the caucus. When I asked questions of people who wanted to be delegates, there were about half that were liberals trying to get elected as a conservative delegate. It’s a similar thing that is happening with the church. People are trying to change the church culture within, thinking that it will change policy and doctrine to push us more to align with the modern day fads that are plaguing our society. We need to be aware of what is taking place.

Bowing to the whole he/him verbiage, his stance on male/female sports, a billboard that said “NEVER TRUMPER” and he simply gives me a creepy vibe. 😬 Pray 🙏🏽 for our country, leaders and for the gift of discernment. ❤ That being said… Lyman has my vote.

Its a huge problem im EVERY STATE! This was their intention. We are being replaced. These ooen borders are neing used gor thrir agenda, when they have no more use for them, they will be as useless to them as we are. When they state openly thry esnt to reduce the population to 99% well wake up everyone because thst means everyone no matter where you are from or your skin color. Ftom the very top dwen to many of the smallest of leaders have bought into satans lies that they are Gods, they will control this planet. You know the extention of the war in heaven! Thats what we are dealing with and wittnessing. Can"t blame the people coming here illegally when they have been openly invited. All these children being used for this purpose is heart breaking. If you havent please listen to Micheal Yon, Doc pete Chambers and hear ehats really hapoening at our southern borders. Yes millions are here and coming and hundreds of women and children found dead along their journey here. Found raped, beaten and dead on ranch owners property in Texas. This whole thing is just heart breaking and wrong at every level. Women coming poding as pregnant women yetfound with thrir stomachs cut eide oprn becsuse they were niy carrying a child but carrying drugs and not all by choice but by threats and force. Im certainly not saying this is the case for every person coming here, as Micheal Yon has stated but many are coming to carry out evil acts here in America. As Micheal stated, no one should be able to break the law to cime here. The real law says, if you cross our borders illegally, you are a felon, will be arrested for this crime. We certsinly cann8t just walk into any ither country and live there ,right? We have to abude by their kaws if their land, yet we are wrong for expecting the same?

I'm usually unaffiliated too, but registered so I could vote in the race Celeste Maloy won. I typically vote republican, although I do research people as best as I can. I plan on changing back after the primary. I'm pretty conservative and I don't feel bad about it. I loved the party platform at the caucus I went to, but I really feel like the republican representatives do a piss poor job of following the party platform, so I really don't like sharing a label with them. However, it's the only way I can vote for who I want in the elections I should be voting in before the big one in November.

Over a year ago, he suddenly announced he was visiting a lot of the schools in southern Utah, to discuss important things with the kids, the day before he was to be here. No parents were invited just him and the high school\middle school kids. My daughter who quit teaching on-line school a few years ago because they had to sit for hours being indoctrinated with all the woke crap and teach what she wasn't willing to teach, kept her kids home from school that day. He also went to SUU and pulled the same crap and had his newly returned missionary son there to testify with him about his policies and for 8 hours it went on with students whining and complaining the LGBT were not being treated right and the few kids who stood up to counter them could hardly get a word in to defend their beliefs. It happened not that long before they announced PRes. Holland would be the graduation speaker and the LGBT went crazy protesting and being awful and then they announced he wouldn't be speaking afterall. It was the most sickening thing I have ever heard of happening in Southern UTah. They slammed the door in his face. Also, one day the little local paper had a notice that they were going to have a dedication type event for our new inland port, which I never heard of. Suddenly we are being told what they are doing is already done. It has been a nightmare, building huge appartments tearing up the farms and putting in whole new cities everywhere, and it is all about money and control.

Governor Cox is a pretender. A pacifist. A Neville Chamberlain. He is no Conservative. Governor Cox's family in Fairview are Democrats. Four years ago, Cox was a "Never Trumper." During this election year, before Trump has become the GOP nominee, Cox hoped that people would support someone else BESIDES Trump. I remember the Trans bathrooms and Trans sports veto that got overturned by a wiser Utah Legislature. During the pandemic, I remember how he stood each day on TV and gave us the daily death count. Fun times. I remember when he tweeted ," Just wear your damm mask!" I remember when he mocked the caucus system and GOP caucus participants and delegates when speaking at UVU. I remember how he called GOP caucus participants, "Extremists" for standing up and voting for constitutional principles and anti-wokism. I remember how he lied and said he didn't know what "smart cities" were and then was caught telling groups of people how wonderful "smart cities" would be throughout Utah. It's an election year. He changes policy just like Mitt Romney did. GOP patriots don't hate more. We care more about our country.

The COX machine runs Fairview. They are nice enough to your face. Ya know, FAKE. It's unfortunate, the good people of rural Utah don't want to open their eyes to see. They are of the mind, "Oh, he can't be that bad", or " He's such a GOOD GUY" . I'm here to say, the moment he took NEA $$$, I was done. That was a long time ago. I did not vote for him 4 yrs ago. I, cannot, nor ever will support him. Just based on how he treats my Parents/family, that's enough for me. Ye shall know them by their fruits. The only real signage in Fairview for him are his own relatives. Other than that, no one really cares for him. Unfortunately, not enough people in Utah are paying attention. I have a feeling Cox will still pull out the primary win next week, even though my vote will be for Lyman. Cox is the typical politician, manipulative and willing to bend in whatever direction the wind (or money) is blowing. While I agree with the underlying sentiment of his "disagree better" campaign, I still believe disagreement and public debate is healthy when conducted fairly and properly. When we don't give room for debate, we risk compromising on everything and standing for nothing. I feel like that's where Cox is now. President Nelson did say that peacemakers are needed, yes. But he also said that being a peacemaker does not require us to agree with or support the ideas and beliefs of others that are in direct contrast with the principles and doctrines of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

So if "Cox is the typical politician", is there an alternative who is a-typical? Who despite being a politician has a track record of being in public office and not flip-flopping?
@TRM520
@TRM520 10 күн бұрын
@@OntheOtherHandVideos I honestly prefer candidates who come from outside the career political scene, (e.g. I preferred Vivek in the Presidential race), but those don't always exist. In this case, Lyman appears to more closely aligns with my political beliefs, so I want to give him a chance. Cox had 4 years and proved to me he's a chameleon that can't be trusted and that he's afraid to make principled stances in support of truth. And a thought on flip-flopping. If you get into politics, you should have well thought out positions on all major/core issues. With that said, I think it's fine when people change their minds as long as they can explain in detail why they believed what they did initially and what changed their perspective. Then, this change in mind should be consistently seen in the policies they enact or promote. The problem is when people change their position solely based on their audience or what is "popular", but then vote/promote differently on proposed policy/laws.
