The Switch 2 will be revealed soon, but will it have enough power to satisfy couch gamers looking for a 4K experience? How will backwards compatibility work? Will it boost original Switch games? And will it succeed?
I'll also be going over all the latest rumors, with an in depth look at the hardware that it will supposedly have. And then I'll get into predictions about when will it come out? What will the launch titles be? And what kind of impact will it have on the greater gaming ecosystem?
I have a lot of predictions and speculation to go over. Warning, this is a long one. It's about twice as long as I originally intended, but I guess I had a lot to say about the next Switch. Hopefully KZfaq's chapters work this time, they didn't on my last one 😅
I also meant to do some price predictions, ...so I'll just say I think it will be $400 (USD). I'm doubtful it will be any less, however it could potentially be more.

I think worth pointing out Nintendo did retro-compatibility with GameCube on Wii and Wii on WiiU. And on the portables area as well. So, they can be greedy but I think they’re afraid of screwing up everything again. Let’s see. And if they have decent deals with 3rd Party companies would be great. Would you imagine playing Red Dead Redemption 2 on a Nintendo console? Crazy, but it’s possible.

I think that people are a bit confused as to why the Switch is successful in the first place. If I had to pin point the main factors it would be: having a choice of form factor(the actual ability to switch). And a consistent cadence of compelling exclusive software. If the next generation has those two things…. It’s a success. All other things are icing on the cake. Without them, it flops, it’s that simple. That being said, Nintendo knows what they are doing with software development, and “switch next model” is the best way to describe it. So they’re good to go.
