It is D Day!!
In this video we finally get the locksmith out to code the key to the car. Will the engine run after the crash or is the Tiguan too far gone to save?

Yeah I suspect you’re right. Also, found out this is a forces car (police or army or something so that may explain it too)

@@SLRebuilthow did you find out? If its police it will have a RS sticker on odometer as it’ll be calibrated to drive at exact speed.

Check the pyro fuse they just click if it’s blown nothing will happen until you change it

Coparts website said it was a 7 speed s-auto, but when you started it you pressed the clutch down. When you changed the gearbox did you turn it in to a manual?

Currently in debate with VW and DVLA - something is a miss with its registration. It’s also an ex forces car

@@SLRebuiltlikely bought tax free and then returned to U.K. after 12 months. Will have been registered in a “pink log book) and then exported. When brought back into U.K. then it gets a V5 with the original U.K. number plate. Not all VW dealers do tax free but must go through Vindis or Alan Day 👍👍

Hi mate just watched your video, of the tiguan, if after trying to solve all the obvious issue n the engine don't start then maybe cos it's holding crash data n needs resetting

Most likely the car doesn’t start due to the pyro fuse because the airbags went off
