I think a third game would be really cool given the changes slowly been happening in the other games for that cast. Grimsley isn’t apart of the Unovan Elite Four, Coleress explored other regions for his research, it’s been so long that Cheren and Bianca could’ve rose up the ranks, and of course the twins. Now, I know a good chunk of people think Emmet would become the villian out of grief, but I don’t think that fits his character. Sure, he’s blunt and a bit socially awkward, but he’s still incredibly caring and I don’t see him risking others like that. I much prefer the theory that he would be the third game’s champion. He did say he likes winning more than anything else, his theme in Gen 5 was Alder’s theme, this gives him more power to research what happened to Ingo, and it be very fitting for the final Unovan champion to be a twin apart of a black and white color scheme given the lore of the Tao Trio. This also means we might get our first Double Battle champion where he possibly uses both his and Ingo’s mons(or at least he has to use Chandelure) which fits with Gamefreak steadily making more difficult battles in their recent games. As for Ingo himself, though we would all like a pure happy reunion, I have a feeling that won’t be the case, but I don’t 100% believe Emmet will at least get the closure he’s been looking for. Judging by the “XX years ago” on Ingo’s concept art, he has possibly been in Hisui for at least a decade which does line up with BW2 release date(and Pokémon seems to like having accurate time lapses given the time difference from Kanto to Johto games, BW to its sequel, and Red and Blue being adults in Gen 7) and also means Emmet could’ve possibly been separated from him for a long time. While learning what happened to him will undoubtedly hurt, it’s will at least provide some comfort to finally know the truth and possibly learn all Ingo got to accomplish in the past even if he didn’t get to experience it with him. Since Gamefreak loves having ghosts and especially ghost of people in their games I can even see Ingo’s spirit returning in some way, whether it be purely good to comfort Emmet, or something like the Marowak where it’s an obstacle clouded by negativity(since things like memory loss and how he died could’ve plus the long time gap could of temporarily tainted him) that you snap out of it to once again get that brief reunion(also be the first time you actually got to battle a ghostly trainer since the Marowak was still a Pokémon) before departing. There’s also ghost Pokémon theories about Ingo that isn’t helped by that line he gives about Electrode and Pokémon like Yamask being introduced in his debut(also just how many Pokémon are former humans) but to basically summarize, you can do so much with these two due to how things ended in Arceus and hopefully, whatever form it may be in, the two get the closure they are seeking

Volo coming back and being a time traveler villain would be so cool and imagine he teams up with the Rainbow Rocket Giovanni and cause chaos throughout space and time.

I use the trope of Volo not being dead in my Pokémon fanfic. Basically hes sealed in stone by the evil Shadow Giratina (regular Giratina considered more of a Pure form in terms of temperament) after being defeated in Legends. Then hes woken up modern day by the Shadow which is trying to do.. something I honestly havent gotten that far in the story building yet lol.

Also too isn’t the ancient hero Alder or maybe a relative of Alder? Maybe Volo ties into rainbow rocket somehow too with Archie and Maxie founding the diamond and pearl clans? Also what if the starter Pokémon in legends are a hint to what all regions will get a legends game(unova/oshawatt, johto/cyndaquil, and alola/rowlett)? Cus think about it alola has these weird connections too looker(sinnoh) and colress(unova). Both play a part in dealing with other characters from different worlds in gen 7. Pokémon likes surprising us too. I could be overthinking though lol.

Sounds like gen 5 remakes are right around the corner and Gamefreak is giving us a hint to what the plot is. So hyped. Gen 5 is one of my favorite generations. I loved the reboot aspect and then they did sequels! Amazing. Based on that, i dont think gamefreak would just do remakes (which games would they pick BW or B2W2?), i really think we're going to get B3 and W3. New story but in Unova. It would be nice to also visit Alola in those games but thats just on my wish list. I dont think it'll actually happen.

In Scarlet and Violet there is a lady who gives you rotom phone cases for your past lives, so your character in Scarlet or Violet is the same character from Legends Arceus who is from Sword or Shield and who is from Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl. Arceus just took your character from Sword/Shield and sent them to BD/SP then he sends you into the past to deal with Volo and after that Arceus sends you into Scarlet/Violet, so your character in the Black/White remakes is the same character from Scarlet/Violet because Arceus keeps sending you through Space and Time

Still, it's surprising how little Legend Arceus finally generated deeper discussion. Fr example, I'm bothered by what the mystical ruins are, are they related to Celestia and why no one has made a video about them. Most of the videos about that game are either reviews, criticism or playthroughs, which is a wasted potential because I believe that Legend Arceus would get a lot to tell and theorize. But thanks to this channel for being a rare exception.

Ingo all but confirmed Gen 5 was 2024’s intended game no matter what. I’m fairly confident it won’t be a remake but a future sequel set 10 years after the events of B2/W2 WITHOUT the games being called B3/W3…

I hope this isn’t to late but I think that after the legends game TPC is working on a massive multiverse with Arcues as it’s “God” and we the player character is going to become like the bronze dragonflight in World of Warcraft well minus the leader going mad and trying to break the timeline

This is more in regards to the Ingo stuff and the "Black/White 3" rumours, but you know how I know it isn't real? Because all of that would be the exact thing much of the community has always wanted. A return to Unova with a proper sequel instead of a remake, doing something entirely new by revisiting a region in the main or core series (note that PLA is really too different to consider it among the others, even if it isn't a spin-off), on top of that it would be a darker and more mature thing to have Emmett be depressed thanks to his brother, not to mention it answering a bunch of questions from a recent game You know what they have never done with the games? Given a portion of the community the exact thing they wanted exactly the way they wanted it. The community wanted remakes more true to the originals and they got BDSP. The community wanted a departure from tradition and got all of the new and different things that they now complain about, like the Trials from Alola, the changes to the League in Galar, the way open world was handled in Paldea. And it makes sense they don't do things exactly the way some fans demand it because it's not all fans that want it, and they pretty well never consider actual game design and such, only what they want. So why would they do all of that now? If we're getting Unova games, it's going to be remakes. If it's a new story, it's a new Legends game, not BW3. If they're going to return to a region but do something entirely new with it instead of a remake, they'll start with Kanto. If they show what's going on with Emmett, it will not be depression, it will either be that Ingo returned or Emmett vanished as well (not to mention the problem of any trace of Ingo being in Hisui/Sinnoh if he doesn't return, not in Unova where Emmett is, so how would Emmett see that?). Doesn't matter if the sources are credible, credible sources have been wrong a lot, either mishearing, misunderstanding, being misinformed, ideas changing, or just throwing in false stuff with truths because people want answers they don't have and they don't want to lose their credibility by not saying anything. It's happened before, credible sources claiming games that never came, like Z or Grey or Stars or that future Kanto or that Chinese region with some Snake legendary or Plus and Minus. So no, none of that will be happening.
