Let this be a lesson to all actually decent players who are stuck in perpetual hell in random groups: If one of the best healers in the world can't carry his group through against their own mistakes, you won't either. Get yourself a regular group or a guild.

As a recent elemental shaman convertee, seeing that shaman on the second Plaguefall pull go all in with a storm keepered chain lightning and immediately ripping aggro was both relatable and triggering

Started to play my ilvl 140 or something shaman who I've never really healed before parallel to your videos. About 5 weeks ago I went into my first M+ (I did maybe 5-10 M+ in my WoW career with my monk mistweaver in BFA and Shadowlands but felt super scared and that I'm not good enough until I started this journey here) until grinding gear in normal, heroic and mythic 0 dungeons. Your videos encouraged me so much to just go for dungeons I felt not being strong enough for and just take up the challenge. It really changed my way of playing a healer, which I swapped to in BFA from playing DPS and tanking since classic. Today I achieved KSM on the shaman, before my actual main (monk). I guess now this char is more of a main character than the other one. Thank you for breathing new life in my WoW journey. It's been incredibly fun to watch your videos, learn from them, apply stuff, fail and learn and get better and better. Playing with a group of friends or people that are not PUG grouped feels so easy in comparison to PUG life. I'm thankful to have gone the PUG route because I feel super prepared for everything coming. Cheers! Happy to see the other videos :)

So finally this series feels relatable. Up until now it felt like science fiction to me, because this Plaguefall is 90% of my experience doing PUG runs.

I want to thank you, as i´ve seen your series for the first time, i thought why shouldn´t i try to get ksm myself. i had a bit korthia gear and just started puging. i think i made a lot of people angry, standig in many bad places or for just not beeing a good player... after two hard weeks with a looooot of dungeons i got ksm, three days ago, by just solo puging on and on. I wish this series was out back when I started playing wow in Shadowlands release. The single biggest boost to my skill, and what got me KSM, was actually using my CDs instead of saving them. Seeing him use Ascendance whenever things even look like they may be getting bad is a good lesson for a new healer.

I appreciate most how you don't look down on low keys and respectful of them. Most raiding guilds I see (including mine) just jump alts into +10-15 in quest and craft gear and turboboost from there. It puts into perspective how much effort you need to get KSM in a pug.

These vids make my week. I love watching them and picking up little tidbits of info from the dungeons. Can't wait for the +13 grind

that plaguefall globgrog was the content i came for, and you delivered. gg

The SD was so smooth, and then that Plaguefall was somethin' else. I hate it when tanks try to pull mobs into those mini bosses. Some of the miniboss damage is too high and you can't trust that your team will interrupt, especially in that 11-14 range. No way in hell would I want to risk that. My play on the fear is to say forget about everyone else; I'll just stack on the tank and live my best life. If the dps gets feared I can dispel one, and if more than one is feared it's not my problem anymore. Despite the odds stacked against you, and dying there, I think you played pretty well. I mean, it wasn't a wipe so that's something.

You were barely 210 and you did like 6.5k healing done in that situation. Dude that was pure skill and handling in horrifying situations. Nicely done growl.

You've got some composure! that PF 11 was hard to watch that shaman and paladin were standing in a lot of crap and the amount of back pulls, god. I woulda been cussing at my screen were I to heal that group.

protip on last boss of SD. if you are a ranged char, you can stand on the edges of the stage on the triangle parts/uneven edges and you do not have to dodge anything and you can't be hit by anything. Only time you wanna go in is when the gold shield is down and stand in that.

As a resto shaman, I avoid plaguefall at all costs. It's NEVER a fun experience. Fun to see the way you manage the pulls. Thanks for the video!

Quaking no longer deals damage to the affected person, it only deals damage to other people caught up in it. Which is a very welcomed change in my opinion because there were situations where it overlapped with some big boss bursts and would lead to a person dying, in lower keys it is still the same old situation where quaking procs and everyone starts running around like a chicken with its head cut off

Love this series, even I did not enjoy shaman healing. Have you ever used your water shield for mama or am I missing something? Best of luck for future keys!

Loving the series. Curious to know why you jump out of the way of the Umbral Crash from the Insatiable Brutes (at the beginning of the dungeon). The crash leaches xx amount of damage to players within 6 yards of the crash. And it deals the exact same amount of damage (as shadow damage) to players beyond 6 yards of the crash. So regardless of where you stand you're going to take the same damage. Not that it matters here but on higher keys not having to move allows you get an extra cast off (heal or damage) which always helps.

Love the series growl! I have a question about your friendly nameplates though. I am using the "friendly nameplates instanced" addon, but it isn't working quite like yours. Your friendly nameplates dont interact or move enemy nameplates. I'm unable to recreate this on my end (my friendly nameplates get added into the enemy stack and adds a lot of clutter) Is this something that can easily be changed? I've tried with both Plater, and Threat Plates, and I can't solve this issue.

Is there a way to have a cast sequence cancel aura macro for spiritwalkers on quaking weeks or for xav wing in TOP?

It saddens me immensely to see someone playing my main class (pally) and not use cleanse on themselves to get rid of disease... PF is one of best dungeons for pally precisely because of this.

Im just curious, is there any specific reason you dont use chain heal? im assuming its a weaker spell than the others but without MASSIVE single target dmg and alot of group dmg, wouldnt chain heal be more efficent?

At 45:46 you decide to cancel Fae Transfusion because of quaking I think? You dont get quaked by spells that are being casted from right to left on the castbar :D

That pally tank in the plaguefall was one of those awful people who pull like they are good and know what they are doing but are actually terrible, for example, big pulling without a defensive up, taking both frontals from the plagueroc and fat guy, pointing frontal towards the group on fear miniboss, tanking purple slime on top of bomb.... Those kind of tanks are the worst, cus the second something goes bad they insta blame someone else.

Never expect people do dispell themself in low keys. most of them don't even know what they are doing or what's going on

since you recorded these all in advance, are you still going to release these videos when next season comes out?

Spirit Link can easily save you from the bomb not dying on these key levels (even on 15's), and it was off CD.

You know what could help wow right now? (beside correct class balancing but blizzard seems to not go for this). Matchmaking m+. Sure you cant push high keys like that but who push key now ? 1% of player ? others just want to play but cant coz of "meta bs". Matchmaking=>force player to play with every spec => more player to play non meta spec =>less meta bs. And high key pusher could use current group finder. (but most real pusher dont even use it so i dont understand why matchmaking isnt already a thing)

Levels 11-15 seem to be where the garbage PUGs hangout. Rewards below 10 aren't attractive, but dungeons beyond 15 require skill and most do logs check, so you separate those who can't cut it.

As a healer you need to understand that people make shit decisions and need to pop their F*cking defensives more. But we take it like Yumy.... wiht a good attitude.

Like all these people freaking out and getting upset over the pugs being bad. Like if your pugging all of your keys your going to run into bad players. Just dont worry about it and get into another key. Add people who you think are good and positive and you can network your way up to high keys

Man it's so funny hearing him say "is 226 iLvl good enough for a +11" when I played only the first patch of this expansion and time +15's when 226ilvl was basically the max possible with the best, highest ilvl gear avaialble....

I appreciate the idea but you cant remove your memory mastery muscle memory understanding of mechanics starting from a low level gear score is only part of the equation. You should play this with no addons at all and click healing to get out your comfort zone.
