It's disgusting, I agree however I'm glad that they were allowed on. People now know that the readings they get are going to be done by an automated system and that the website/company director(s) aren't even involved in their business. They have shot themselves in the foot, big time, by coming on Shark Tank. They deserve all the bad press they get from this.

The people that fall for this kind of stuff don't care that she's not actually doing the reading. I had a friend that worked part-time for a psychic service online, and basically her phone would ring with people wanting a psychic reading, and she could choose whether or not she wanted to accept the phone call. If she didn't accept it, the call would go to someone else who would do the reading. Right there on the website that they advertised that you could either call to get a psychic reading, or you could make a part-time income being one of their psychic readers. In other words, nobody had any credentials or anything of the sort, it's just people talking to one another. The girl that was a friend of mine would listen to their problems, suggest things to do to solve their problems and for the most part just listen to the people vent. The people calling seemed to like to have somebody to talk to about their problems more than anything else. This is kind of similar. They're not really talking to anyone, but they are getting answers or suggestions for Life issues. Not my bag, but obviously some people kind of like this sort of thing.

Just like how the religious community works. They give hope while getting funded by the community. Those Pastors are earning millions and the majority has no issue with that.

I looked at the site and it looks like they are monetizing with adsense. They are getting 200k traffic/month from tier 1 countries with good ad positioning so they could make making 100k. I'm earning 1/4th of that with my site that gets around 30k vistors per month. I think they would want to branch off another website with the extra income to make a paid service... I don't think they would risk putting their main money maker at risk.
