It’s instagram! I can’t even make a wholesome comment on there without it being deleted for being ‘spam’ ‘misleading’ or ‘baiting likes.’ But people can be absolute assholes without issue! 🤬 I’ve been finding YT much safer for my sanity when comment diving. 😊

Occasionally there'll be the one guy that's super knowledgeable about one specific car and they'll give good tips, but most of the time it's some dude who thinks he's a mechanic because he did a brake job on his own car once

Toyota over-engineering at work. All mechanics have to deal with Engineers doing what Engineers do: make life harder on Mechanics.

Shout out to Concept3Performance and Will, amazing content. Keep it up, and don't worry about these keyboard warriors. They never really worked on a car or a truck before. For those of us who do, we find your videos informative and entertaining because we either learned something new or been in the same situation.
@cammourer82464 ай бұрын
I work on them daily but I still say Will needs to work on his communication approach with some folks.
@vsmk55124 ай бұрын
@cammourer8246 Communication is not the problem. It's the blasphemy that comes from people. I can't tell a surgeon how to operate just because I've stitched up a wound a few times. To the ball joint in question, Concept3Performance probably replaced hundreds, if not more, I can't tell them that they are doing it wrong just because I've replaced it on my car or truck. That would be assuming that every car or truck is built the same.
@cammourer82464 ай бұрын
@@vsmk5512 I can see where you're confused, my opinion on his communication issues are gathered from previous videos where he admits to ignoring people, having people be his mouthpiece, and trying to explain things to people like they are also mechanics.

Been doing toyota ball joints for 15 years now, some of the hardest even with a 50 ton press but the easiest way ive found is to prep the lower control arm with a flameless induction heater at the ball joint then transfer it to the press and press out its been pretty smooth so far. But Will you gots it its a bitch trust me!😂

Man, props for putting up with everyone's BS. This job is hard enough without having to do it in the public eye. That said, my only gripe with your process here is the lack of safety glasses while using the press, but I'm probably just paranoid lol. Also, it's definitely not necessary, but if you do press jobs with any regularity, upgrading to an electrically operated hydraulic press makes these jobs a little more bearable.
@KraigthecanadianАй бұрын
You were more patient than i would have been i would have liquid metal'ed the internals of the ball joint and used a die grinder to slot each side of the remaining ball joint till i could split it releasing it obviously you did it the more correct way and would also require you having a cutting torch and if you don't sol on that idea
