Barble are one of the best fighting fish in a river I also enjoy catching chub they give a good scrap aswell good video 👍🏻

I know most anglers don’t like giving up any locations lol but just wondered if you know any decent day ticket spots for the barbel pal. I’m a amputee I need pegs with fairly flat banks and not to much slopes unfortunately 👍🤜🏻

Goto A1 pits Newark mate, some lovely barbel there, weathers not good for it at the moment but when the low pressure kicks in will all be catching lol

Settle a debate for me.. do you catch more barbel in overcast conditions or in blistering heat? What's yr luck been like in summer compared with overcast conditions?

Blistering heat is the worst weather for barbel Fishing, this past week has been terrible for catching barbel.

Most of Trent has got barbel mate, if your traveling from Yorkshire keep an eye on Facebook groups where there being produced, some stretches arnt fishing well at the moment
