You don't need a degree to become a pilot, you need to have passed high school (10+2) and then apply to your chosen flight school where you will study various subjects related to flying and clear the exams like navigation, meteorology, airframes etc. Each airline has their requirement of having a commercial pilots licence(cpl) or Airline transport pilot's licence (atpl) you can get a job with a cpl and then after you complete the required hours the licence becomes an atpl. @@snjrfootball9386 see if you plane on getting your cpl rating in India it Will cost you around 45-55 lac if done from igrua( Indira gandhi rashtriya udan academy) you can also check out other flying schooles like nfti and chimes aviation academy, these are just some. Now if you plan on doing it international the total cost will be no less than 60 lakh. This is the conventional method of becoming a pilot, another method is the cadet pilot program where you are a cadet pilot of an airline and if you successfully complete your training you'll get a job in that airline. This method is more expensive and costs are 1 crore+.
