Secondly, spiderman is stronger than you think. MCU is just holding back the full potential and slowly introducing new skills he possesses. Spider-Man one of the most beloved superhero, so even in comics he is stronger than most of them. He defeated even X men at some point Yes, it was fan service, but it was done proper. It was their last chance to create such unthinkable movie, because most of the cast are old people , they not gone be here forever. So they took a big risk and it turned out great

Because, that is not who Spider-Man is. Heroes don’t do things like that. Second, Peter Parker is also smart. Third, they did make the movie really well with fan-service, which made the audience cheer. Even the critics were impressed by it. Fourth, the word has been spread across the country, so even if he goes to another college, people can still bother him knowing that he is Spider-Man. And fifth, the action in this movie was actually really good.

To me there are three actors that just can't be replaced by anyone else at their roles in Marvel: Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, and finally, Willem Dafoe as Green Goblin

I love this guy as an actor because he gets it. He doesn't thumb his nose or look down on commercial movies. He does them because he knows it affords him the opportunity to do projects he is more passionate about. But he never phones it in regardless. His turn in the Spiderman movie was chilling. An absolutely lovely, lovely, lovely GENIUS actor. Willem Dafoe is probably the slightly old man who reached the heights in acting career in the 90's but then the 2000s kids struck a liking with him since Spider-Man, and now he's a dear legend for today's audience as well.

One of my favorite actors. And as great as he is as Green Goblin in both films, I really wish that fanbase would seek out his other films. He truly is one of the most eclectic and diverse actors out there. Last Temptation Of Christ, The Lighthouse, Antichrist etc. He's also phenomenal in Nightmare Alley.
