Yep, boom boxes were the stuff back in the day. LOL We have those HUGE ones, and walked down the block with them. Back when you could do things, and not get hassled by people.

D batteries is a good thing. You can buy rechargeable D batteries. Meaning your boom box is future proof, and not ewaste.
