"William Mulholland: The Dream Builder," Los Angeles History Project, October 26, 1989

Күн бұрынOn October 26, 1989, Los Angeles public broadcasting station KCET aired a half-hour documentary titled, "William Mulholland: The Dream Builder." Mulholland was a civil engineer who designed and supervised the construction of the Los Angeles Aqueduct. His career was ended by the collapse of the St. Francis Dam in 1928.
The program was part of a series of documentaries called the "Los Angeles History Project."

I bet the occupants of the Owens Valley did not feel the same way about Mr. Mulholland as the City of Los Angeles does ! 😢.

The granddaughter saying he would have killed for the water department or the city had me laughing hard, no need for euphemism. Pretty sure the old Santa Clarita valley residents would like a word too.
