When I was a kid, 92 yearold's were not just very rare, but also the few in their 90's were extremely frail and mostly couldn't move around. One of my all-time favorite William Shatner moments was his comments he made after the ride in Jeff Bezo's rocket. He was so eloquent, profound and articulately poetic. Such a remarkable man. People are like "yeah he seems younger because of fake hair and fake this and that." I don't care about those. Look at most men who are 92. I'm talking about his output, the way of delivery, the clarity of thought and words, the way he changes some ways he thinks and tries new things (like the documentary once he was impressed by the particular team's new ideas) in his 90-something brain. THAT's what makes him seem younger than most 90+ year olds.

What can any one person say except that William Shatner is a Living Legend, born amongst Legends, anchored soundly in the Halls of Legends, in the Time of Legends. Bill Shatner has been there since I was a kid in the 60s. I can still hear and see the theme song of Star Trek filling the living room that we as a family sat in to watch many tv shows of the time. But the monologue intro to the Star Trek theme and then that music, well, it gave me pride somehow. And an absolute wide eyed sparkle in my eyes. Thanks Mr Shatner. We were very fortunate to have our youth at a time of great imagination, and have that imagination delivered to us by you, and the whole crew of the Star Trek production. Thanks brother. I just watched a clip of Patrick Stewart's appearance on Jimmy Kimmel, which I believe was just last night, and then I went straight to this... William Shatner doesn't sound all that different from the way he did on Star Trek. There is some noticeable change, of course, since he's nearly sixty years older. But if they were to make another animated Star Trek show today, and he voiced Kirk, it would still work. Not so with Patrick Stewart, I'm afraid. Stewart sounds _old._ He really has that reedy, scratchy, old man voice now, and he's a decade _younger_ than Shatner.
