This song is autobiographical and speaks volumes of wear she's come from. Grace Jones is a force of nature. The video shows a live performance of the song, what's wrong with that. I can see where she wouldn't want to distract from the words with flashy special effects and pretties on the screen.

What a massive track this is: great song, great performance and incredible production. "Got the Williams' blood in me" section is so ominous-sounding, like really bad weather gathering off-shore. Fantastic groove and eye-pricking gospel refrain. Great string score - I could write a book on how stirring I find this; just wish I could make music this good. I can take or leave the diva visual performance thing, stylish as it may be: for me, the magic happened in the studio - bloody miraculous.

@MikeyTTTT TOTALLY AGREE! I was there at the Albert Hall, her voice so powerful, her stage presence amazing, she had the audience eating out of the palm of her hand with a great sense of humour. The new album is terrific. She is 62, and incredible. The words "fierce ruling diva" can justifiably applied to her. A REAL TRUE EXPERIENCE. Incredible.

completely and utterly SHREDS lady gaga, even her body is better, and she's like 80 years older.

I wouldn't call Gaga stealing it, I call it succeeding Grace Jones. Face it, there hasn't been a performer even close to Grace Jones in ages and she's largely forgotten in America, so the fact Gaga has that ambition, while not wholly original, makes her worthwhile. She'll never be Grace Jones, she's too melodramatic and hammy to be Jones, but she comes the closest in this generation.

Grace Jones goes crazy with some her art but mantains CLASS!!! I do really like that about her Im not that old but I can see that these days it more about shocking the heck out of people than just being and artist that is about the art ......But than again so manny people need to follow. I guess i just dont like the idea to be call someones little monster.
