How can you not like this, not played often now.

To dislike this work is the world most difficult if not impossible for me.

Never heard it played so beautifully. Learned it in 1957.

Wow! Amazing piece. When I was a kid we had a 78rmp version with the orchestra. Must have been Charles Williams and his Concert Orchestra. We only had 6 records and we did not even had a player in the beginning. 50 years later I accidentally dropped all 6 and they all broke... One record was Aram Khachaturian - Masquerade: Waltz and another was Valse Triste by Sibelius. To this day I hear the surface noise and hollow sound even when listening to a modern recording...
