My brother, I'm a Rwandan living in Canada, and I'm so happy to read your comment. I want to share with you some good news. I assume you know the relationship between Jamaica and Rwanda is at its best since the visit of His Excellency Paul Kagame to Jamaica; they have signed so many bilateral agreements, and the people are starting to get closer and closer. A Jamaican restaurant just opened in Kigali, and the owner said that he was inspired by the visit of His Excellency to Jamaica and the relationship between both countries.

Brother Marcus was steadfast in his ambition to reunite our people both in the Diaspora and, the motherland so much so that he started "Black Star Line Shipping" in the year 1919 to facilitate our people and goods back to our continent. His dream has been kept alive until this day. President Addo of Ghana also mentioned the same. I'm really happy to lived long enough to witness this in my lifetime.

I was there in July for my birthday. Im gonna try to go again next year. I lived with a family who treated me with a lot of love. They didn't charge me anything but i gave them what i would have paid in a decent hotel. Im not a freeloader. They weren't rich people and also they fed me for 2 weeks. Some of the family and friends were sad when i left. They had some bad experiences with African Americans before they met me. Their children showed me around the capital and taught me how to use the bus system, and the motorcycle taxi. The night life is not spectacular but the country is relatively safe and very clean. Next year i wanna venture to other parts of the country which is mostly rural. By the way the family who hosted me are vegetarians and the food was delicious and the house was as clean as the the board of health. 😂. Most of the people speak some English but i did learn some Swahilli. I'm gonna take some Swahilli classes this year. They have a local language that i can't pronounce, one thing a time.😅

Rwandan nightlife is not so much different from other African countries. Indeed, their alleys are a bit walkable without worrying about being pickpocketed or manhandled as it would be in the case of my country Nigeria. Despite saying that their clubs aren't as high end as some in Nigeria though. I never knew there are quite good number of Nigerians living in Rwanda not until I see that Jollof rice makeshift restaurant. I know there are many but not in the number I am seeing in the video. However, something I like about Rwanda is that it is safe and level of cleanliness of the environment. It is difficult to find cellophanes on the streets. Thank you, sir.

You will not just be manhandled..you will be mugged,choked,beaten and lucky you if you don't get killed. It's the same in Nairobi and Mombasa,Kenya. Very dangerous outside at night. I have placed a 6.30 p.m curfew on myself

As an American, I'm intimidated about visiting most of the African cities I've seen in videos, but Kigali looks like a pleasant place. I'm especially impressed by how clean and orderly it is on the weekend where alcohol is being served (often brings out the worst in any group of people). The people seem easy-going and wholesome. I enjoy the everyday life you depict in your videos and the thoughtful narration. Thanks!

You should watch more videos, for some reason, in the west they only (mostly) show you the bad parts... Check: - Windhoek (Namibia) - Swakopmound / Walvis bay (Namibia) - Garborone (Botswana) - Francistown (Botswana) - Polokwane, Cape town ect (South Africa)

I experienced the night life in Kigali and iam very sure it's the best in East Africa. It's very safe at night no bullshit happens to you going back home like in Uganda or Kenya. Rwanda captured my heart.

its so fortunate that there r no food vendors,hawkers,classified vendors on the road more so good view, roads r so well in conditions,no traffic jam at night, permitted situation compared to those of some E.A countries but reach ug🤧🙄

Vlogging is hard work,we go through so much harassment especially from security and what we are trying to do market Africa to the world, show a different side of Africa to the world but some people make it worse by harassing content creators, that being said this is a very informative video now I know where to visit if I want some music and chill spot, keep up the good work brother 🙌

As far as I can tell Blackstone Lounge is a private property so he needed a permit from them too. The city gives you clearance for public places not a property owned by somebody else.
