That was the biggest disappointment I found in playing this game was the forced grind. Games today of course don't have this cheating method of extending gameplay.

Better be careful with that Devil's Eye, 'cause Madam Medusa is looking for it too.

***** Same here man, played this when I was 6 years old, and I could only get a little farther than when you get Po's Ocarina, and then it got SUPER hard. It was fun trying to beat it back then tho. This game actually gave me the creeps when I played it in the dark by myself.

Me too! The Wild Boars & the Trolls scared the living daylights out of me. My brother and I never made it far in this game but I do remember being freaked out at all times. Just the thought of the Wild Boars or the Trolls appearing out of nowhere was the thing of nightmares for a 5 or 6 year old. This game and Friday the 13th on NES.

Brandon Savitski Thank god I never had Friday the 13th when I was just a kid. That game scared the crap out of me when I was much older like 14 years old (I think I first played it on an emulator... I don't really remember how old I was with my first experience with it). When I was still just a kid, I remember having a few nightmares where I was inside the game and I would get hexed and chased by a boar or something. Kinda scary.

That could be really helpful. How do you get out of bounds? Can you just walk into that grass a certain way?

I don't think it took much effort, i believe you can just clip through where the tree sprite is partially covering the grass.

Ok i just tested it and it still works. the spot is straight across from the lowest part of the bottom trees. You should be able to walk straight through the grass and off the other side of the screen. it does glitch the graphics but you end up in part of the game that is about 25 minutes further in your playthrough.

Brandon Savitski Haha me too! Never got far in this one but I do remember really liking it. TOTALLY THE SAME WITH FRIDAY THE 13TH!haha Jason would pop out and I would jump. That spooky ass music and always getting stuck in the houses. What year were you born? 89 here.

Correction to my last comment. They were actually Wild Dogs, not Boars. Not sure why I kept saying Boars. I have an old school NES but I can't seem to get it to work. The power light just flashes over and over when you turn it on and nothing comes up on the screen. Not sure what's wrong with it or where I could take it to get it looked at to see if the NES still functions or if I'm missing a wire or something. Anyways, I was born in 1982. Still love the old school classic NES games. These videos bring back a lot of nostalgia for me.

+Landfall364 Every capture device gives slightly (sometimes extremely) different colors. Also this video and probably the others you've looked at have been color balanced and contrast/brightness adjusted. That's probably it.
