Hello there you Beautiful people my name is Willow and today we are going to find out if I can beat Fallout 4's Survival Difficulty using only Grenades! It's a fun run so make sure to like and subscribe for more just like it!

This is impressive. Although, I know a guy who beat Fallout 4 using only caltrops. Did you know people die if you reverse-pickpocket caltrops into their inventory? That took care of a lot of baddies. The rest involved lots and lots of patience.

Can you beat Fallout 4 as Santa Claus? Only weapon allowed is the Junk Jet loaded with children's toys.Optionally, the only armor you can wear is the Sexy Santa suit from the creation club. Bonus points if it's Nate in the suit.

Challenge run idea: You can only use institute items: synth armor and weapons. Stuff like that. I imagine the hardest part would be progressing far enough to get into the Institute.

Just going to Arcjet Systems with Danse can get you several Institute Pistols/Rifles

Honestly, I don't think it would? The hardest part would be doing Fire Support, which would involve running away from ghouls while Danse slowly whittles them down. The moment that that's over, you can grab Institute weapons from the synths Danse kills at ArcJet and then it's a normal run.

i think molotovs use the whole bottle as their hit box, which rotates in the air. This is why they're more finicky than other, regularly shaped explosives.

Excellent video! I think the Institute has to be the hardest side, due to the assault on the BoS. Challenge suggestions: No crafting. You can never touch a workbench, chemistry station, or cooking station. Only use what you find or buy. No perks. You can only spend points on stats. Skyrim Illiterate Mage. Can't use spell tomes, only learn spells from npcs or items.

17:45 I forget if legendary armor pieces are against the rules of the challenge. If not there is a chest armor piece you can buy at bunker hill with the dense modification that significantly reduces explosive damage taken

you and mittens squad are why i play and do challange runs in fallout games. gotta say they make the game a lot more interesting. my current survival run is using modern weapons with no armor. with the modern weapons mod im often shredded before i can even see the enemy. i would love to see how you would handle it. keep up the good work on these challange runs

With Skinny Malone you could've preemptively laid mines there he and his gang will spawn. When they turn hostile the mines trigger almost instantly and kill everyone. I did it with 3 bottlecaps mines on Very Hard, but you might need less actually.

Molotovs are the bane of my existence in Fallout 4. They have a wonky spinning hitbox that makes them explode on bad geometry unless you're an NPC with perfect aim and their blast radius is, like, twice as large as it should be.

Long time no comment Willow! I got myself an Xbox Series S recently so I thought I would give it another go. So far I only have $30 of CC mods installed and no mods. Aside from the occasional game crashes from the PS4, so far the new console is working pretty well. I have already completed the CC mod quests and I started on the Nuka World stuff. So far the only bugs I have, is the lack of ability to complete Gage's companion missions and the game crashing with both the Sentient Power Armor and Gage as my partners for some reason. Other than that, making good progress and I am almost to where I was at before the PS4 run died.

I really hate how Bethesda removed making Nuka Grenades in Fallout 4. With all the Nuka variants, I could've had some fun with that. A lot of fun.

I honestly doubt you'll see this but you should do a fully naked unarmed survival run, it's kinda pain but once you get it done you feel GREAT. When I did it I didn't put a restriction on skills apart from Idiot Savant, I also allowed a robot companion once I reached a high enough level but no other companions and I made them melee only with the Protectron Arms and Hands but any other combination of parts. It was such a fun run I highly recommend it!

Theres a challenge run ive wanted to see done for a while now... ive personally done it and it is FUN... basically, the challenge is "can you beat fallout 4 with only power armor". I think it was mitten squad (may he find peace in his walk through the veil) that did a similar challenge, but this one would badically just limit all weapons to things your power armor can do... jetpack/explosive vents, pain train perk, and power armor mma with bonus electroshock therapy and bloody knuckles for added fun. As i said, ive done this build before and its actually super fun to fist fight a deathclaw wearing a mini tank.

If u kill the railroad early, than the institute quest is completed on the spot when dad gives it to you. And u can decode the chip with them dead. So u could have just thrown grenades at them when u first meat them.

I am well aware of ballistic weave. Have used it in multiple runs. I just don't see the point in getting it every run as it's really boring. It's also fun to have the challenges be a bit more challenging. The video wouldn't be as fun if I never had a frustrating moment. It's not even a challenge if there's no adversity.

I do end up using baseball grenades in the run, just didn't mention them in the beginning because I didn't know how likely it was I'd have them often.

@WillowPlaysGames nice. Only partially into the video, watching through the day here and there. Random thought, but can you beat Fallout 4 on survival, with just the world series bat? Just something off the top of my head. I play on survival nigh exclusively, and the only melee run I've done on it was a blast, and I feel like adding that might be even more fun. Irma Goboom. Cmon, Expa Load? But there is something hilarious about chucking caltrops into crying grounded enemies. As an aside the power attack is also mapped to the grenade button, maybe allow unarmed PAs? 28:51 sheeee!

Can you beat Fallout 4 while abusing the console to go absolutely goblin mode? I mean, Vault-Tec Rep in a dress, raider faction an enemy to itself, making Danse get out of his power armor, things like that. Just how stupid can you casually make things?

With caltrops and cryogrenades maybe. Big leagues increases trap damage as they do not explode. I rarely use poisoned traps and by not using stealth you are really hurting your chances. Stealth and reverse pickpocketing make caltrops with big leagues fun. You can reverse pickpocket mines and grenades but you need to run away fast.

A fun challenge that Ive actually done is power fist only. Yes, bare fists only is a common run, but the power fist is both more fun and more module, with the main difficulty being finding it and dealing with melee enemies and mirelurks. But it is still incredibly fun, especially with a strength/agility run, rather than strength/endurance. Add on some luck and charisma, and you've got a very strange but very fun run

You can stay in the thing for the brother hood guy where he literally kills synths I just left my game on turned the TV off and then viola you have more nuclear items than you know what to do with and then walk all the way back to sanctuary to make plasma grenades
