An absolutely great Western TV series and many episodes sent a good message. Walter Brennan was about 75 yrs old when he was in this show and in Westerns he was always perfect-one of the best. Now having a starring role, it proved once again that he was a fine actor. I believe that the town scenes were filmed in the back lot of Paramount Pictures in Hollywood which was then called Desilu studios. .

Such a great show. Relationship between the Grandfather and Grandson was so cute. Dack Rambo was so handsome. I had a crush on him when I was little.
