I too came off the production line in 1969. However, I have to say that the Morris Minor looks far better for its age than I do. I never thought I'd be jealous of a car before.

We had an old Morris minor when I was a child in the early 60’s so this takes me right back and makes me feel nostalgic, except it was even older than the one you’re driving. I even remember the reg number: NAC 316

My first car was a Morris Minor Convertible which I bought in 1967 for £60. I wish I had kept it! Mine used to pop out of gear too. I once had a wheel fall off but luckily I was turning a corner at low speed. Another common fault was the fuel pump. On a trip back from Skegness I had to get out every few miles to hit the fuel pump to get it working again. Fantastic car with rack and pinion steering I recall.

Loved this Will, brought back lots of memories as my aunty had a Morris Minor when I was a kid. No seat belts then she used to get loads of us in it. We had a Morris Minor back in the day. It was a lovely little car. We travelled all over Britain in it. Have to laugh at you driving without power steering and no hydraulic brakes! 😂 Welcome to the world where grannies like me learned to drive. 🧓

I’m laughing all the way through this. I love the tear drop caravan although personally I think I’d want a bit more space. I passed my test in a car with the old drum brakes and no power steering so when I got a car with power steering and servo assist brakes it was like the moment of Neil Armstrong walking on the moon 😂

Loved every minute of this Will 👍🏻 fun fun fun! & funny 🤣 I have a 1966 Morris named Mabel and only learnt to drive in my forties so that I could have a Morris Minor! Had her 12yrs now and still haven’t driven a modern vehicle since getting her ❤

Great video Will, I can so relate to the outtakes, just as you get it right something happens in the background, either a car goes by revving their engine, a plane fly by, the best part is you put the camera away and you can hear a pin drop. 🤣🤣

My mother learned to drive for the first time in a car with no power steering. I could be dead wrong but I think the car was a Falcon. I hardly remember because I was a kid back then. LOL! Mom use to say it was a workout steering and driving that car. LOL! 😊🚙

My first three cars were Morris Travellers which I adored! The Morris Minor was so reliable it was the car used by the police, known as Dumpies. Happy memories.

Love it! This is like me dream setup, except I'd have a Classic Mini towing the teardrop instead, but the Morris Minor is just as eclectic! I'm still surprised you fit it in it Will! 🤣 Outtakes were hilarious too! Loving this series.

I was kind of looking forward to seeing you cook on the back of the teardrop. Teardrops I've seen in the US have a cookstove and cooler on shelves, hidden inside a cabinet build into the bigger end of the teardrop.
