Vaush's tone and way of speaking is always so matter-of-fact. He comes off as though he thinks he knows everything. He's actually fairly well spoken, but it works against him when he says out-of-pocket stuff, because the things he says absolutely clash with the way he says them. You can't just speak in such an unanimated way about crazy things, it makes it seem as though he's belittling his listeners and opponents for not being already on-board with his take before he's even said it. Example: "They were just Goblin-coded guys." Once someone recognizes his absurd take, then his whole matter-of-fact intellectual persona will crumble for that person. They begin to see that the emperor has no clothes.

Vaush is pretty smart. He's not a n idiot who just uses big words. He's good at following logic chains and finding flaws in arguments. He does think he's smarter than he is , which causes problems in terms of factual accuracy. He'll often deny being wrong about factual things because he doesn't like to be corrected, he'll say "that's what I said/meant" even when it's clearly not. I notice his inaccuracy when he talks about the law a lot, but that's just because I went to law school so I know when he's bullshitting. I assume it's the same across many areas of expertise, I just can't tell for sure.

That's what happens on my end. I used to be on Pivix and the loli and shota artwork on there was a massive dealbreaker.
