In this video I am back on the FC 150 Cab restoration project. A little bit of money came in and work is now progressing. The panels that I made in earlier videos are now being welded in. Lots of progress today on the passenger side of the cab which was much worse than the drivers side. Rear cab corner is in, wheel house panels are welding in solid and things are moving along.

The correct tools in the hands of a skilled metal fabricator's hands equals awesome finished panels. Nice work.

Always good to hear from you, FC parts can be tricky to make but with time and patience they come out great.

I owned an FC150 myself once and always had a soft spot for those trucks. Nice to see this one getting some love again. Was worried it was it going to get left in the dark...

This project will keep going if the owner can keep up with payments. Always slow but when money comes in I work on it for a while.

I hope somebody comes along before I get too old and won't have time to teach them. Matt is learning a lot but not sure if he will make a living out of it or just tinker with his own projects.

FC's are difficult to work on and the panels are very complex . Time and patience are needed on these old Willys. Slowly I am getting more done as money becomes available.

I like to power wire brush the over laps and welds first and spray POR15 and use a acid brush to penetrate the seams then use SIMS sealer 🙌 DONE

Anything to keep out the weather is good. I use 3m brand sealer and have had good luck for many years with it. Keep out the rain, dirt, humid air, etc... .and your project will last many, many, years trouble free. Thanks for being a continued supporter or my channel, always good to hear from you. Brian

I’m psyched to see the FC getting some attention again! You’re the man! Can you show the label on the can of the weldable primer you use? I know you’ve mentioned it before but I forgot what you use. Can’t wait for the next video!
