Your son wearing ear protection (and not much else) in the opening was the best part. I see people with babies in the pits and in the stands with no hearing protection. Their ears are so sensitive (and damageable) in the first years...thank you for taking precautions.

@timsane why not try returning the cooled oil into the valve cover to help keep the cylinder head cooler? Just a thoight

You need to put shock coupling on drive shaft or your going to keep breaking stuff....you can get them Roof Master in Gardina California relative inexpensive hard couplings like you have real hard on gears and bearings

You should move that fan to the oil cooler and get a grill cut in the front of the body. Have you tested temps body on/off to see the difference yet?
