I finally got the Kubelwagen to run alongside my Willys! Aren't these the most amazing scale models? I wish they would come out with the Schwimmwagen next. Thanks for posting!

Very cool video thanks! . In my opinion, the kübelwagen is better when driving fast on bumpy ground. And also in the mud and sand.The jeep is better at slow rock climbing because of the solidaxle.

It is masterfully built. RocHobby has and does am amazing job. I found that even the pulley turns with the throttle!

I wonder if it would help to put some ballast in these to reduce the bumpiness.

I took out all the extra leaf springs and put in oil shocks just a few months ago in the Willys.. and added ballast in the Kubelwagen.. helped but not as much as I would like!

I ve read the Kubel had no oil filter (don't know if true ). If so the engine wouldn 't last long in the desert. I guess the germans believed in a short war.

These are a special size figures that are hard to find... however on Amazon the "Dr. Who" series fit very well. That is what I used. Enjoy!

I know right! I found even more details on the Kubelwagen after I did the video.. the fan belt and pulleys actually spin when it drives and more! Thanks for the comment.

Yes very true, in fact with alot of videos I process in reduced speed speed for realism, however.. I PURPOSELY did this video in real time to authenticate the comparison between the two for my viewers to see how they perform. Watch some of my other later videos to see this - like the Glacier RC vids I have done. Enjoy!

nice video, well done. Are the K wagens suspension components sturdy enough to stand some non-scale hits? I'd love to get one but worried about durability Incase of any mishap! 👍🍺🇬🇧

that is a good question... I would say the suspension components are not as sturdy as a good Crawler, however it has metal driveshafts - much sturdier than plastic. Honestly it is more of a showcase piece of nostalgia. I had to repair one of the headlights right out of the box!

Definitely the Willys! It is 4WD and not limited slip. They are both true to form to the real thing.

I found him on Amazon from "Doctor Who 07231 O'Brien Graham O Brien Action Figure". They are the perfect size!

I was pleasantly surprised at the difference between the two. Found out just the other day on the Kubelwagen that the fan belt and pulleys on the motor turn with the motor! Too cool.😃🤙
