Well hi there I am a member of Woolley Park Golf Club and we have pld you every year . NOW I have these irons but mine are grafite senior shafts, WHAT A DIFFERENCE THEY HAVE MADE ( THANKYOU WILSON ) PW GOES 26 YDS FURTHER 9, 12 YDS 8, 10 YDS 7, ABOUT 20 YDS 6, ABOUT 10 YDS 5, AROUND 25 YDS FOR me well I have had these a month and par 4 16th slope with ball below my feet well pw to a foot for 2nd shot the fact I missed it got par well I was excited never been that near on that hole, even next 17 long par 4 s.i.5 I hit 6i 6i sw par , before 5s & 6s were the norm . My speed is 70 mph . Thanks again wilson . Paul

Just came back from a fitting ... and landed on the the Wilson set. Comparatively a much better feel off the face, lighter and has better distance. Completely changed my mind from being set on G430/G425 when walking into the fitting.

I was the same on biased on Ping g430/g425 and the fitting work had me open to other options and confident choice on Dynapower

4:23 played 9 holes with my new dynapowers . Already a great improvement over my very old wilson D100s. Loyal wilson golfer.

HI AGAIN yes I had the D7 then the D9 wilson all I need now or so I thought was the MAVRIK sub zero driver to go with these never hit the ball so long .

I’ll keep my D7 forged for now might upgrade to the Dynapower forged in the future, I do own the Dynapower driver and absolutely love it.

Just got fit and landed on these clubs. Had to custom order length and lie(I'm tall), so I'm looking forward to hitting these out on the course. I'm getting back into golf after 10+ years. Played a little bit last season, but my old clubs were just off the shelf and never felt good with them.

How tall are you and what length did u get? I’m 6’8 and got no clue what length I should be going for

@@GabesWayOfDoingIt 6'3" and I have +1 shafts. I recommend going to get fit. At that height I bet you'll need a different lie angle too. And who knows what stiffness.

@@GabesWayOfDoingIt I'm 6"6 I got 2 inch on shaft, 2 degree upright on face, XL grip with 2 wraps.

@@DaGolfViking honestly, they're a great set of clubs. Strong lofted, but what isn't these days? The highest loft is 47° on the gap wedge, so plan accordingly with the rest of your wedges. They pair nicely with a 52, 56, and 60 (TaylorMade HiToe). Great performance for the money. Pretty forgiving. I've still been able to shape them a bit too as I get better, but there are likely better options out there for workability.

I wouldn’t touch Wilson golf clubs with a barge pole. Ordered a custom set of Wilson Dynapower irons via American Golf. On collection, I immediately went to the driving range next door to AG to try them out. A few shots in, I was using the 5 iron and, on the backswing, the head flew off and hit the wall behind me. Luckily no one was walking along the gangway at the time else there could have been a fatality. That evening, I was inspecting the rest of the new clubs and discovered that the head on the pitching wedge was also loose and could easily be pulled off! To their credit, AG have been brilliant and immediately offered me an alternative brand of more expensive irons at no additional cost to me. Wilson, however, have been a different story - hard to contact, slow to respond, and not particularly interested in my complaint, the hassle I’ve been put through and my experiences as a customer. The clubs Wilson delivered to me were unfit for purpose and potentially lethal and I will not buy Wilson again

Sorry to hear that. Was this UK or US? We've never had any issue and a few of our team use Wilson clubs so likely just a manufacturing defect and you were unlucky.

AG should have dealt with Wilson and not you. Your purchase and contract was with them to fix any issues

Great review Ryan Wilson always produce great clubs. How do these perform against the new G430, Stealth, and Paradym.?

I tested these and Paradym today. The Wilson was much more pleasurable and satisfying. Not what I expected, but the Wilson was SO impressive...

would you agree that these cirons are more for the "sweepers" of the ball, as opposed to those who take divots ? seems that way wtih the thick base

The opposite is true, for a wider sole it will fit more diggers, so the club bounces and doesn't dig..

Hello could you please answer, what's the best shaft for these for a male high handicapper. The KBS tour lite or the KBS max ultra lite?

If I can chime in, I tried both of these shafts and must say the Tour lite R flex was much better feel throughout the swing than the stock ultra lite that it normally comes in. The little extra weight helps keep the swing in the right direction… however it’s a bummer that you have to special order them if you want the tour lite with a changed lie angle . I tried the new TM QI, titleist t350, Callaway smoke irons with the same shaft (KBStour lite) and the Wilson Dynapower irons added 15-20 ball speed and 25 yard difference than the 3 other club makers … Wilson sold me on these irons but I will have to order them with 2 deg upright and the the tour lite shaft. Hope this helps

@@DaGolfViking no I never got an answer. I personally like the D9’s. I have graphite shafts. Big sweet spot. I’ve tried several brands this is the best sweet spot cavity back irons that are not hybrid irons.

D9 are players distance irons, these are game improvement. A lot of the same tech but geared toward a higher handicap player than the D9.

d9 is a distance iron, this is a game improvement iron. So not an improvement, much the same but geared toward higher handicap players than the d9

@@fordrac1ng81I believe he is talking about the regular D9s and not the forged D9s. I game the regular D9s and they are very forgiving but I am interested in Dynapower too.
