Thank you Venus for being so vulnerable and wow your videographer is amazing. Every breath you breathe is bringing new oxygen to your cells and getting you closer to healing and a full recovery. We cannot wait to see you playing again.

I swear, my heart stopped when Venus injured herself at Wimbledon. Cannot imagine how that must have been for her, but can we just take a minute to appreciate Venus’ outlook?! How can you NOT be inspired by her! It’s a life lesson for everyone, no matter what profession or walk of life. NEVER give up and always focus on the positives. I twisted my ankle about a month and a half ago, and my busy lifestyle made it impossible to even recover properly, so I was so happy to have fully healed, and finally get back on the court! In fact, it's because of you that I never give up and keep my passion for the game alive! Thank you Vee for denying the naysayers and ignoring the haters! If you look at it in my perspective and I think everyone would agree that the players you play against were trained on beating Serena and players with her abilities. Venus , I'm a high level club player in UK, but I go through similar struggles as you , ( in a minor way:) - your video has really helped me understand my losses. I was on a win streak, then a loss streak, but the loss was to someone I beat 1st. The ups and downs are really a metaphor for the game of life. Venus it was a hero’s performance. You got up and finished what you started no matter the pain and circumstances. You’re teaching these youngsters to never ever give up. The first 2-3 games, I was like OMG Vee unlocking another level--it was amazing, and then the 2-0 AD point happened. I was gutted for days, but I’m glad she’s set to compete again later this summer, so hoping for speedy recovery Vee 🎾🤔❤️ Vee had a shot to be up 3-0 against an eventual Semifinalist!
