I've seen one of these blades on the road when I was moving to Denver. You just don't get the idea of how big they are until you see equipment and people next to them when moving them. BIGGGGGGGGGG.

How can the manufacture (plastic composite) and transportation of these be environmentally friendly?
@jbkgjbkg3 жыл бұрын
Well hopefully the carbon footprint created by manufacturing, transportation and maintenance will be less than fossil fueled power plants. They look ugly though, kill so many birds and you need a lot of them.
@MicroSamgg2 жыл бұрын
it's not but the idea is that this sort of human activity is highly reduced in contrast to brown coal mining, coal power plant operation, etc

The moment we saw our last electricity charge I could not put food on the family table. My partner and I recognized our toddlers would most likely go hungry. We did not have a buck. The answer ended up being the Papziati Energy online guide. It is a good way to produce your own electricity. Hunt for it on a search engine.

@tglogis3 жыл бұрын

What a colossal waste of energy. They have achieved just barely enough revenue to pay all the workers involved in manufacturing and transport of materials that NO ONE else has received the benefits from. Not a single cent reduction in our energy bills, in fact our taxes went up to cover the cost of making windmills and we will never see the pay off or return on our investment. Just a bunch of rich guys taking government funding at the people's expense.
