I can kind of understand the Windows 11 requirements seeing how Windows 10 crippled many of my Windows 7 computers when I "upgraded" them. Computers that I used to be able to somewhat game on, bang out school assignments, and do whatever else I wanted to now became so unbearably slow that I'd be lucky to get to Google in a reasonable amount of time. I ended up retrograding them all to Vista or 7

With that being said though, some of their requirements are dumb af. They cut support for many 4+ core processors but still somehow support much slower dual cores. Doesn't make any logical sense

Thing is I have Win11 on a Skylake and it's running just like 10, even with HVCI and all the security features enabled. They shouldn'tve cut it off at Coffee Lake considering everything from 7th-10th gen desktop are basically Skylake rereleases and tweaks. Broadwell and Haswell may choke, my Haswell iMac clone for example won't work with HVCI on Win10 so the extra security thing won't work, but I don't see why Coffee Lake is the cutoff considering no new features were added that gen that aren't in sky/kaby besides spectre/meltdown mitigations and there are coffee lake CPUs without those. 11 ran just as well as 10 on my Skylake box with all security enabled, and better than my Ice Lake laptop in responsiveness, so...

thats what is gonna happen why you try to run windows 10 on 2gb ram. i upgraded my pc in early 2016 which has 2nd gen i3 4 gb ram and a hard disk. it still runs fine to this day.

@@apodev9879 I personally really don't like the look of Win11... all Win except 7 and 10 looks like sh*t to me, sorry. And from what I read or heard, the improvement is not that significant and on older PCs/laptops not even recognizable.

I'm a User Interface and User Experience Designer and I gotta say, The Interface looks pretty damn good in Windows 11. It's minimal and smooth, I'll recommend it 100%

So far the only difference in gaming that I've noticed is my CPU runs about 5°C cooler and for I know that could be a coincidence. I'm not complaining though, I needed the cooler temps, I have an i9 10900k, this thing runs hot enough to heat my office.

*Watching this from Windows 11 Dev* No major bugs detected so far, there are some tiny annoying ones but most of the softwares (mainly Adobe Creative Cloud Softwares and a shit ton of games) works perfectly.

Ha Ha xD. Good one. I've used windows 11 dev too, for the past half year and I was reminded every day that I was using windows 11. First day Tpm module didn't agree with my graphic card driver and just blocked my computer from posting. It was so fckin stupid I needed help of another profesional to get to the post screen. But ok, it was my stupid motherboard fault, because msi didn't check that their smarter "default" setting that they replaced normal defaulting in bios is not working correctly. And by not working correctly I mean it repeated defaulting WITH the setting that didn't allowed it to post. The solution is to start it from igpu, which my pc hadn't have one, so i had to get it to someone who had. But rest assured, it was just the fisrt day. Staring actors: -Programs that straight up refused to work with windows 11, for no apparent reason. Sometimes in the middle of active use. -Appearing from time to time invisible window that will minimise everything if you click on that part of the screen. -Just a stupid way to make a layout appealing to new users, and frustrating to use for advanced ones. - Performance suck even harder than in windows 10. -Oh a propo functionality, none of the promised features works the way you imagine. Android apps? Hahah, have tiktok and shut the hell up. Smart acces memory? Only for the choosen ones! And only in upcoming things, because Nobody knows exactly how to implement this crap. Either way if you don't have the newest amd+amd or intel+nvida, you are screwed out of it anyway. And the best of all, golden fckin spike to my eye... As A dev version... you can't reset the changes! Yea, why not, let's don't give a BETA TESTERS reset option. WHY WOULD THEY HAVE IT? So yea, i've hard resetted to windows 10. That is the only way you can get rid of being dev-level beta tester. MAKES FUCKIN SENSE. And oh my god, after that long journey I appreciate windows 10 alot more. I've returned to 10 yesterday, and god only knows how much i needed it. Windows 11 is just crappy, buggy, irritating version of windows for people that look is more appealing than functionality. It's basically Vista all over again. I hope it dies like Vista, so we could have something better rise on it's grave. I wonder what it would be. Windows 12 seems good, but if it's coming to the prophecy then next windows after "windows 12" would be even better. Maybe Windows Helium? It's obviously will not be windows 13.

Ask me.... Have many major bugs like task manager not showing running apps to Browsers not loading any websites even on WiFi there are many some of them are really problematic believe me I had to completely reset my system coz my user profile had some issues which directly resulted in Task manager not running properly, search bar not working and even if search for downloaded apps nothing's gonna show, periodic network reset is recommended. Yes Dev build previews have too many bugs and is unstable Better use beta or release channels

@@tanishrane U dont really need to upgrade ur processor for win 11. Its just a soft barrier, many have installed it (unofficially) on hardware as old as core 2 duo and it still works flawlessly.

Hate the fact that multiple desktops are easier to access now. My parents are "mouse" people and even if they feel I am not studying, they just ask me to all open apps (though for some reason they never bothered to see what task view meant 😜). Now that I is damn easy to spot, I may not be able to use it like before.😪

As far as App compatibility is concerned, Windows 10 and Windows 11 is almost same. I never experienced any issues regarding compatibility. Internally Windows 11 is still that same Windows 10, just a custom skin. But yes, that Eligible processor and TPM requirement still bugs me a lot😴

I use windows 11 and had previously used windows 7, so when I got a new computer it had windows 10 by default and only used windows 10 for about 2 months, once it became available to update to it from the update window I did, I love windows 11 and its new features, only downside is vr chat keeps giving me a network error, even though I don't (its the literal only not good thing about windows 11 I've encountered), besides that windows 11 is amazing!

Been gaming with the Windows 11 Insider Build for more than a week and I do appreciate some of the gaming features with Auto HDR which is a bit cool to use and doesn't slow the game down based on my experience. There may be some bugs but it is totally usable and stable for my work routine with the Office Insider Build as well as with my game routines. Hopefully Microsoft tones down the requirements so that you can try it out for yourself too :))

Rufus does the job pretty well, just change the installation type to Extended

hdr in monitors is just mimic. While turning it on means that you actually can use whole dci-p3 pallette, it's common that turning hdr on in games actually makes it use less colours than in sdr. Auto hdr is no different. I tested hdr and only game that it looked half decent for me was cyberpunk. And even then it had major downsides. Major enough to be more worth it playing in sdr.

7:55 That is completely insane and makes zero sense that they removed the task manager shortcut from the taskbar. I used to use Ctrl+Alt+Del and then select Task Manager, now I know about Ctrl+Shift+Esc

there is some problem: 1) windows 11 has the same kernel of windows 10 so why he has some problem with compatibility, that have no sense (this problem can be resolved by bypassing/disabling some security checks and features) 2) it's too early to change SO, even with w10, we have to wait some years before installing w11

Well to enable TPM 2.0 you need to enable it through BIOS, not regedit.

Fun Fact : Windows 11 can make your game experience smoother than Windows 10 (That's just my experience after getting on Windows 11 so if anything goes wrong don't curse at me. How I can install Windows 11 in my 2020 PC because I use Rufus. It can eliminate the requirement for TPM 2.0)

I am actually playing on Windows 11, I can tell you guys, my gaming performance increased. The compatibility is the same as Windows 10 for apps, except for the TPM 2.0 (which Microsoft will remove) I used an easy way to remove the tpm 2.0 on the youtube ...

i am using win11 on my pc for around a week or so. it have awesome vuisuals but it has many problems. 1 main one is that its really slow. my win10 was so fast, this is just OOOOF

Unfortunately fTPM is still causing issues on my Ryzen CPU, waiting for a fix for that, most likely a bios update, before upgrading to Win 11.

I have tried Windows 11 on a laptop, it felt like a ripoff of Mac OS (which I want a Mac). Later on I joined the insider build, in the insider builds of 22H2 I couldn’t even enter the start menu or the search menu until 22H2’s official launch. Later on that laptop broke. And that is why I hate Windows 11 so much.

windows 11 might just be a skipped uptade like windows 8 since the requirments are very rare and pricey i dont think anyone is gonna want to get expensive hardware, if they dont eliminate or make some features optional

Everybody if you have bad fps and if your fps decreased when you upgraded to windows 11. Please try getting better ram better GPU and hdmi i recommend using RTX 4080. And 3080 Since system requirements for win11 is needed.
