@@KaapziMAS does not work on the evaluation copy. It's missing the SKUs from the full version, so it's stuck with the evaluation license. Even if it were converted to the full version, Windows Security would still be broken. And you would need to perform an in-place upgrade with the full ISO to fix it.

You need to change the title of the video because it's misleading. Windows 11 LTSC (or any LTSC version) isn't an upgrade. You can't use this as an upgrade as it requires a fresh install. And lastly this version of Windows isn't free... You can evaluate ir for 90 days but to legally acquire it you need a Volume Licensing Agreement from MS. This version of Windows, unlike the "regular" ones that let you use the machine without activation, blocking only personalization settings, will periodically shut the machine down if you try to use it past the 90 day Evaluation Period.

@@Windows_Guy About the first part, I'm not the one saying you can't. MS themselves state in the same page that has the download links. If you look at the page you will see it written there, just like if you scroll down they also state what happens if the OS is used without activation past the 90 day Evaluation Period. It's all written there

@@blakedmc1989RaveHDGeneric or genuine keys won't really work on the evaluation copy. The sku files from the full version are absent. Without those, it can only switch between the IoT and non-IoT evaluations. And for the full version, you don't need to look for a product key. You can easily generate a digital license for the IoT edition.

Unless you edit the registry to trick Windows, you cannot directly upgrade without a clean install. That trick only works when your current build is at or below that of the LTSC build. I have not come across any genuine (non-VL) keys for IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024 posted online. At least there shouldn't be any at this time since it hasn't officially been made available for general use yet, only to OEMs. There are generic keys floating around, but those are only for installation and switching versions, not activation. There isn't much of a reason to go looking for a key anyway, considering that HWID activation is quick and easy to use.

@@TechSanjeetYou can't really continue using it after 90-days. If you look at the installation guidelines the last bullet states. "If you fail to activate this evaluation after installation, or if your evaluation period expires, the desktop background will turn black, you will see a persistent desktop notification indicating that the system is not genuine, and the PC will shut down every hour." This is why it also tells you to install it a virtual machine.

The IoT version does not support KMS yet, it does support HWID activation though. KMS support will likely be added a couple years from now, like with IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021. Only the non-IoT release supports KMS. Also the evaluation copy is stuck with the 90-day license. If you want to use it without limitations you need the full version.
