Actually I have the AllowDomainPINLogon File do I need to change the file or not? by the way there is another file in this location is AllowDomainDelayLock should I need to modify it ?

My laptop has said this ever since I got it but my fingerprint scanner was working. It lights up when it is ready to scan your finger but it hasn't been working for a while now. This has happened a lot but usually, a windows security update fixes it. It has come back yet. Does anyone know how to fix it? I have done the steps and it didn't help anything.

It really should not be this complicated to restore the finger print function. Not your fault, rather Windows. Just a suggestion - please slooooow down as you explain the steps.

there's an option to slow down the video: click on the settings button (gear) > click on playback speed > click on 0.75

My fingerprint scanner was not working after Windows 11 update. Under device manager, there was no BIOMETRICS option. However, my fingerprint scanner was under OTHER DEVICES, but as an UNKNOWN device. I right clicked and tried to install the driver as it said there was no driver for this device. Windows would find a driver, but it would give an error when trying to install the driver. I tried installing the driver after downloading it directly from my device's website (HUAWEI) but it would still not install the driver. My PC Manager also found a newer driver for the device but it was still failing to install it. EVENTUALLY i found the SOLUTION! All i had to do was update the driver using device manager BUT, this had to be done when my computer was in SAFE MODE! I hope this helps others.

@@ekaari732 Boot your pc into safe mode. Then go to device manager. On the list, look for OTHER DEVICES, it should show UNKNOWN DEVICE. Right click, update driver. After driver updates, restart pc.
