Run command i use in method 2 :
gpedit.msc
Run command i use in method 3 :

C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Local\Microsoft
Run command i use in method 5 :
regedit
Address to copy and pasted in address bar of registry editor in method 5 :
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\PolicyManager\default\Settings\AllowSignInOptions

This might fix the problem, try disconnecting your work/school accounts in Sign-in options > Access work or school

The GPedit - was the fix for me - All drivers were present before - no issues there - all bio settings were disabled in the GP. Thanks

You have to choose the one.. can’t use both at the same time but can configure both

My fingerprint scanner was working properly when I installed the finger print driver on my laptop it was working smoothly on Windows 10 but after I updated the windows 10 software version to newest windows 10 version it isn't working and I don't know how this has happened I tried all of these 6 methods even all of them all ready enabled and done but it isn't working

Uninstall latest update. Settings > update and security > recovery > advanced options > troubleshoot > uninstall latest update

@@LotusGeek Though the issue is fixed now by uninstalling windows update, does it mean my laptop can't have any updates from now on otherwise this windows hello fingerprint function will become unavailable again?

It’s not like that.. Microsoft fixes the bugs in the updates time to time. After 15-20 days update your system again. By that time bugs will be fixed by Microsoft

Sometimes the problem is with hardware. So technically you aren’t.. about working .... resetting may work but there is no confirmation as it depends upon the type of error you have

I've never use it before. Bought the laptop in dec 2021.. since feb trying to set the facial recognition for sign-in and always it appear as unavailable. Right now only my fingerprint and pin number working. But still I'm not able to add on other fingers because all options unavailable
